    Single chapter. One-off

    It was a week ago or maybe a little bit less, to be truthful I have entirely forgotten, totally lost track of time as my life has been slowly but surely turned around, upside down and inside out, in the most mystifying way.
    I am sure you would love to know what caused this almighty shift in my life. All I have to do, to recall it, is close my eyes and I see them.
    Two arches. They are alive and in constant motion. I knew as soon as  I saw them that my life might get interesting. In actual fact, they told me more than that. They told me that my life was going to get really good indeed.
    I was transfixed, my eyes were not able to move away from them. Their movements made them continuously shift shape, creating circles and ellipses and at the very same time a mixture of feelings which shook my very core. 
    These were the actions of a pair of lips which belonged to a vision of beauty.

    "Who’s idea was this to call a meeting at this time of the day" the guy from accounting grumbled looking at his watch and forlornly at his desk where his packed lunch was waiting.
    "The new boss. She has just landed here this morning and she wants to meet the team. She wants to get to know all of us!" I replied with mock enthusiasm. 
    My back, at this very precise moment, was turned to the door as I finished addressing the bespectacled number cruncher.
    I heard the door open and spun around on the luxurious boardroom leather chair to face the new entrant. 
    My breath caught in my throat at the sight of the resplendent woman who had just entered the room. Tall and slender, the gentle sway of her hips as she confidently walked in, rendered her utterly captivating.
    She took a seat at the head of the large mahogany table and introduced herself. Bette Porter was her name, the new CEO.
    I sat there riveted to my seat, just a few steps separating us, utterly spellbound.  
    She began the introductions and in true form started a round-the-table tradition of get-to-know-yous.

    1. Ahahaha!… All this just because of a Chicago Code’s scene???… Which episode was that?… Gotta see it, damn it!!!… Well K, that was amazing as always. I think we will agree here that we all were already addicted to Bette’s (or should I say JB?… No, let’s keep this a fantasy…) lips “visually”, but it is now official that I’m also a huge fan of “reading” about those lips!!… But only if the tale is yours of course! Oh, and may I congratulate you on the boldness of going for a NC-17? Smoothly and remarkably accomplished, may I add… Anyway, mille bravos and thanks for this my friend, and I will confess that I had thought about a lot of things when you let out the “them”, but certainly not her lips!
