“What a night.” Bette smiled.
“Thank you, for coming.”
“My pleasure, how could I miss the chance to dance with you?” Bette smiled.
“It’s hard you know?”
“What is?” Bette asked kissing Tina’s hand. “Going out?”
“No, dating you.”
Bette looked shocked, and hurt. “I…”
“No! No, that’s not what I meant, it’s a complement.” Tina quickly explained.
“I don’t get it…”
“You’re understanding, you always say the right thing… you’re perfect, it’s hard to live up to.”
“That’s a complement?” Bette wondered. “Tina, have you seen me two days ago?? I was a wreck. Besides, I’m far from perfect, trust me you’ll find that out soon enough.” Bette smiled.
“Really?” Tina doubtfully said.
“Oh yes, especially if you think I’m perfect, you’ll find out soon enough no one’s perfect Tina, it’s unrealistic to think it.”
“How do you know?” Tina smiled.
“I learned the hard way… got burned a lot…I used to think my ex’s are the embodiment of perfection, until I realized they aren’t. Tina, you’re setting yourself for a huge let down if you see me as perfect.” Bette seriously said, “I’d hate to disappoint you.”
“You can never disappoint me.” Tina insisted.
Bette smiled, “Don’t put me on a pedestal, it’s a sure way to get hurt Tee.”
“Fine, I’ll believe it when I’ll see it.” Tina said holding Bette close.
Bette sighed, “Tee, believe it now, so you won’t get hurt when it happens.”
“Fine I believe it.” Tina smiled kissing Bette.
“I’m serious.” Bette said, worried.
“I know Bette, you’re not perfect, but you’re perfect for me.”
Bette smiled, “Now how can I answer this?”
“With a kiss.”
Bette leaned in and kissed her.
Tina was getting ready for bed when Bette came in, she was wearing boxers and a shirt that says ‘I know I’m not perfect, but I’m so damn close it scares me.’
Tina laughed, “You really like this shirts crap?”
“Well, I stole this one from Alice.” Bette smiled, standing next to the bed.

I have finally caught up to this fantatic story! I must say i was on the edge of my seat hoping Tina would jump in and particpate. Thank goodness for Alice and Helena. It looked like Helena was just trying to be a friend. I suppose Tina has improved in her hearing bad news and then running off and sleeping with someone, but she really needs to learn to actually talk to Bette when things like these come up.
Wooo, for a moment just a small split second I thought Tina wouldn’t bid. But Alice was there to encourage her. She really must gains some type of self assurance and fight for her woman.
Wow that was great up until the point when Tina almost let some crazy bitch win Bette. Who is she I couldn’t figure it out. Duh! It has to be Jodi, man can’t believe I didn’t get it until now. Please let the talk go well, talking not yelling and accusing and lots of kissing and I’m sorries. PPS
I don’t know who this person is and I sure hopes its not Jodi, but Tina needs to trust Bette just a bit. Everyone seems to have Tina’s number when it comes to being insecure, get some backbone woman. Gotta love the girls and they’re bidding, cracking me up. Alice, were going to live on the street. Thankfully the other have the money to back up they’r bids.

I read this twice before commenting…I can see why T just let go and gave up, it is her MO. She is wounded and lacks any kind of self confidence when it comes to someone loving her for her. This mystery woman, read T right on, and played on her fears and insecurities. At this point B and T talking is great. Al, Hels and the rest showed true friendship. This is what T needs now, love, friendship and protection from herself and the world. Anyhow that is my humble opinion. PPS can’t wait for the talk :)
The mystery woman was hiding behind Bette’s office door when she and Alice were talking but, who the heck is she? Is it Jodi, hope not. Tina, Tina, honey you’ve just gotta get some backbone and by all means talk to Bette when these things happen. Tina just doesn’t believe that people will try to sabotage their relationship. Everyone that Bette has ever been with would like to have her as their own and Tina should realize this. They mean nothing to Bette her heart only belongs to Tina. Why can’t Tina see this? Poor girl. I hope they really talk and not have Tina making accusations and speculating about Bette’s feelings. Bette is ready to fully commit to their marriage, Tina asked to wait. Tina had better get her self in gear and take Bette now. Gosh, could we have another post today, pretty please.
