“Fine, you need to break up with Bette.”
Tina laughed.
“I’m serious Tina, this has consciousness.”
“I thought you’d be thrilled your little play is working!”
“Tina had you thought what will happen when you’ll be bored with her? When you’ll decide that you need something new? You can’t break up with her, you’re married!”
“That’s not going to happen, she’s different.” Tina insisted.
“God Tina! She’s not different she’s another notch on your belt! And she deserves better.”
“You don’t know that! You don’t know me.” Tina yelled.
“Tina I know you! I know you and I know the destruction you leave behind you! I saw the look in Bette’s eyes she cares for you!”
“And I love her!” Tina snapped. Katharine looked at her shocked.
“You love?? YOU LOVE?”
“I do, I love her, and she loves me.”
“Tina, you will break up with her!”
“No! Who do you think you are??”
“I’m your mother!”
“Well start acting like one!” Tina yelled.
“You’re not in love with her, you’re in love with the idea of being in love”
“That’s not true!”
“How do you think she’ll react if she knew what you’ve done?”
“She knows!”
“Everything?” Her mother challenged.
“Most of it.”
“She knows about you and my fiancé? You think she’ll still respect you knowing what you did? Maybe I should talk to her, tell her a little about her precious Tina. I think I will.” Katharine nodded, “She looks like a person with high moral values, wonder how she’ll react.”
“She loves me.” Tina whispered.
“She cares for the Tina she knows, not the real one.”
“I love her mom.” Tina said getting up, “I love how she makes me feel and I love the person I am when I’m with her. I’ve changed and it’s time you’ll notice it” She said leaving.
Bette spotted Alice walking in. “Porter!!” Alice waved.
“Hi” Bette smiled sitting down.
“Well I haven’t seen you since the Candace fiasco.”
“Yeah, I haven’t heard from her…”
“Yet. You know her Bette… she’s relentless.”

Katherine is so destructive. I hope Tina gets through to her or writes her off for good. Too bad she’s so involved in their lives.
Tina needs to tell Bette about lunch with her MOTHER. Damn, what a bitch. Just because she’s miserable. Tina also needs to tell Bette whatever Katherine is holding over Tina, then when she tries to sabatoge their relationship,Bette can let her have it.
The old Tina slept with her mother’s fiance not the new and after Bette improved Tina :P I can’t wait for Bette to kick Katherine’s ass in the next chapter =D It’s been a while since you wrote Alice in this story, I adore her, she makes me laugh so much xD I think Bette could not have a better friend than Alice. Since you have mentioned Candace again :/ I’m sensing you’ll bring her back eventually??? I hope I get my cat fight between Candace and Tina then =)Geek your writing is great as always ;)

I am not sure what happened between Tina and Katherine in the past but I hope she doesn’t frighten Tina away from Bette. I see hope for Tina with her sticking up for herself. Can’t wait to read more, so off I go.

katherine is a bitch. I like that bette wants tina to have a better relationship with her but it takes two. whatever it is that she is hiding from bette about her past, it should not matter because they are in love. but I’m sure there may be some drama of some sort right? wink wink

Alice is right, Bette should let Tina figure it out and just be suportive. Katherine is like “acid rain”. Some people are NOT good people and therefore can not be good parents. Just because you have a child, doesn’t mean you are qualified to raise to be healthy people. I think Katherine is the one with the MAJIOR personal problem here. When she goes to Bette with this crap, She will “jack her up”. PPS :o).

Katharine is a vile woman! I agree with Alice, Bette needs to leave it between Tina and her mom to work out. Tina does need to come clean with Bette about the things she’s apparently done to her mom in the past. True she’s changed, but she needs to be up front with Bette so Bette is not blindsided by anything. I really love this story! Can’t wait for the next post!!!

I think Tina’s mother is an absolute BITCH, and should never be called mother except with another word attached to it. I also don’t believe that Tina willingly had sex with the perv. Take it from an old social worker, one of two things happened in that sordid mess. 1. the perv molested Tina and told katharine that Tina came onto him and she believed him. 2. He molested Tina with her mother’s permission, and Tina knew she let him do that to he and never forgave katharine for it. He didn’t want Tina’s mom to begin with just her money and tried to find a way out from her and used that scenario to get his exit, along with the money he wanted. katharine is a drunken bitch to boot and blamed Tina for her own shortcomings. Tina was a kid seeking a mother’s love and was used and molested. I Will not ever believe that Tina had a willing hand in having sex with an older man. That is why she drinks so much and ihas been such a loose lost soul. Just my opinion from years of seeing girls molested and what happens to them after. From that standpoint Bette needs to leave Tina alone about trying to make good with katharine. Bette has never experienced that sort of behavior from a mother and needs to back off, just support Tina. Thanks for posting geek.
