    Melvin smiled, sure he was a little worried when Bette sucked Tina’s toe… but they make a cute couple.

     

    “This is dangerous.” Katharine said.

     

    “Why? I thought that’s what we wanted.” He calmly said.

     

    “No, we wanted people to think they’re together. We wanted them married so our families can combine their fortune.”

     

    “I don’t understand…”

     

    “Now, there’s a risk. They can fight, they can break up. It’s too dangerous.”

     

    “I think it’s time we stop meddling.” Melvin concluded.

     

    “I think we should make it clear they should stop. Look at them they a disaster waiting for happen.” Katharine said disgusted.

     

    Melvin looked at his daughter looking lovingly at Tina smiling, leaning down and giving her a gentle kiss. “A disaster” He dryly said.

     

    “We should do something. I think it’s better if it comes from you.”

     

    “We aren’t going to do anything.” He firmly said, “I guess my daughter talked to you, told you to back down and now you’re sending me. That’s not going to happen. Let them be” He said walking away.

     

     

     

    “We should stop” Tina said her voice muffled by Bette’s lips.

     

    “Ok” Bette said not stopping.

     

    “Are you stopping?”

     

    “After you”

     

    “Mmm” Tina moaned, she felt Bette’s hand squeezing her ass. She stopped the kiss, looking at Bette. “One hour.”

     

    “And then you’re mine.” Bette smiled.

     

    “I’m always yours”

     

     

     

    Bette was sitting at their table, most of the guests have left already. Tina was… somewhere, bathroom, bar. Bette was so tired, being in a table with the Gremlins would do that to you.

     

    “Bette.”

     

    ‘And here is Hatchet-Face herself.’ Bette thought. “Katharine.”

     

    “Had fun?”

     

    “Sure, your toffee party will be the talk of the year” Bette smiled.

     

    “Everyone seemed happy.”

     

    “They are” Bette agreed. “I think we can crown this a success.”

     

    Katharine nodded.

     

    “Anything else?” Bette asked, she was tired.

     

    Katharine looked like she was going to say something, Bette looked at her pointedly.

     

    “Have a good night.” Katharine finally said.

     

    “Thank you, you too.” Bette smiled politely.

    8. They come such a long way.. made it through the party with each other. Oh and the grocery shopping.. “cute”. I have this feeling that “the hag” is up to something. Don’t let Tina mom destroy them please. PPS

    9. I am glad that they made it through the party in one piece. Katherine is going to try something, but she will now have to deal with Melvin as well as Bette as a result. That woman don’t know what she is about to put her foot in. PPS:o).

    12. These two are just too cute. Cracking up that they’re all dragging because of the toffee. Forget the whip cream, get chocolate sauce. I don’t trust Katherine not to try and sabatoge they’re relationship. Hopefully if she tries Tina will finally step up and tell her mother to take a flying leap.
