Bette open the box to reveal four gold bands. Engraved on one were the letters TKP, and on the other was BPK. The other two were engraved with the same letters AKP.

“These two are the gold rings at the end of the wild ride so to speak. They are the light at the end of the tunnel, and the prize of a lifetime. But only when we are both ready. Whether that is in six months or six years from now, I want to be your spouse again. Only this time I want to be better.” Bette continued, “The other two rings are to remind us of the most important reason we should always work things out, for Angelica.”

“These are beautiful Bette. Absolutely beautiful.” Tina told her with tears in her eyes.

“I also have a necklace with a pendant to match these rings for Angelica. You know, for when she is older. I hope this isn’t too pushy or presumptuous of me.” Bette asked hopefully.

Tina let the tears fall, and took one of the AKP rings from the box. She brought it to her lips, and then to Angelica’s. She lifted Bette’s right hand, and placed the ring on her fingers. She kissed it once it was in place.

” I love you so much Bette. You are the most incredible woman I have ever met. Your heart is the largest of anyone ever. You are simply amazing.”

Bette picked up the ring for Tina, and followed her example. She placed a gentle kiss on her finger after placing the ring on her hand.

“You and Angelica are my life. I could never be, without you.”

As Bette was leaning in to give Tina a kiss, she received a good hard kick to her kidney from her excited daughter.

“Ow, damn. Did she kick like that before she was born?” Bette laughed.

“Yep, if she wants your attention, she knows how to get it.” Tina laughed along with Bette.

“Well if she is anything like you, then the best thing to do is to get her some food. How about lunch? You hungry?”

“That sounds great.”

“Good, it’ll give this one here something to do besides beat me up.” Bette laughed as Angelica kicked her again, but this time because Bette was tickling her feet.
