After a crazy and amazing weekend, it was back to the real world. I went back to my studies, my classes were coming along well. I was also working with Dana at the temporary therapy clinic. Tina still had not yet agreed to move in with me, so she stayed with Kit, in the guest bedroom until she was able to find a suitable home for her and Jackson.

”This weekend was amazing Bette, I’ve never had so much fun.”

”I had an amazing time as well. Waking up next to you after an amazing night of love making was the greatest thing in the world. I wish I could have it everyday.”

”I know babe, I just need to figure out a few things on my own first. Plus I need to slowly bring Jackson into this brand new world. I want to make sure he understands.”

”I know Tee, and I’m not rushing you.”

”Thanks babe, I really appreciate your understanding in this matter,” she said and sighed, ”I see no signs of Eric. He must have dropped Jackson off and left.”

”Well at least you won’t have to deal with another awkward conversation.”

”Yeah, well I’m gonna go get Jackson and we’ll meet you later for dinner.”

”Alright Tee, I’ll see you later, love you.”

”I love you too,” she said and hung up.

She got out of her car and sighed. She stuck her hands in her pocket and walked up the stone walkway and heard laughing coming from inside the house. She smiled hearing her little boy’s enjoyment. She knocked on the wooden door and waited until a nice old lady came to the door.

”Tina darling, come on in, he’s been waiting for you.”

”Thank you Ms. Jones,” she says and steps in.

”Mommy mommy,” Jackson exclaims as he runs around the corner.

”My little monkey! How are you? I missed you so much,” Tina exclaimed hugging her son tight.

”I’m super mommy, I had so much fun! Daddy took me camping and fishing. We caught like a hundred fishes. Then he cooked the fishes and daddy’s friend helped us start a fire and told scary stories. It was so much fun!”

”Daddy’s friend? Who is daddy’s friend,” Tina asked, her heart pounding.
