Tina just smiled at Bette. “What did I do?”, Bette asked. Tina just smiled even more and then finally spoke. “You opened up, Bette”
Bette: “Sooo……..I told you a few things about my past, because I wantet too……..and I didnt want to keep any secrets from you”
Tina: “Youre right…….you did and Im glad you did”
Bette: “So why are you still looking at me like that?”
Tina: “What do you mean?”
Bette: “Like you wanna tell me something……but youre not”
Tina: “Youre right Bette……..I do need to talk to you about something”
Bette: “So what is it?”
Tina: “Bette, dont get me wrong……just listen, then you can say, what ever you wanna say, ok”
Bette: “OK”
Tina: (clearing her throat) “Before Lara called me up……I spoke to Erics parents”
Bette: “You didnt say anything about that”
Tina: “Bette, please………..they mean a lot to me and Charlot…….please understand that…”
Bette: “So what did you talk about?….me?”
Tina: (smiling) “No…you were not in the conversation…….but Charlot and I were………were moving in with them for a while, until we can move back home”
Bette was quiet and didnt know how to react or what to say.
Tina looked at Bette and could see her mind was working overtime since she didnt speak.
Tina: “Bette, your not saying anything?”
Bette: (surprised) “aaaaa……..what do you want me to say…….you have already made your decision and Im sure I cant change your mind”
Tina: “Bette……..it dosent change how I feel about you………but I need my space with all this going on and so do you…….I only called Madge and Peter because they are like my family, Bette……..and they are comming home today………Charlot hasnt seen them for a few weeks so…..”
Bette: “Its ok Tina…………I understand…and maybe we both need some space after living so close together for a while…and with everything happening with you and Charlot……so when are you leaving?”
Tina: “Were surpose to go there for dinner and then stay the week”
Bette: “Ok…that still leaves us a couple of hours………sooo what do you wanna do?………I mean you and Charlot”
Tina: “Why dont we all go out for a late lunch……and then a trip to the playground for Charlot…….she loves it there”
Bette: (smiling) “Ok……lets get Charlot and get out of here”
All three of them went out to lunch and a trip to the park which had a playground. Charlot played there, while Tina and Bette sat on a bench and talked.
It was getting late and they all returned to Bettes house. Tina wantet to pack up all their things and called a cap.
Charlot watched TV in the livingroom as Bette went into help Tina pack their suitcase. Bette came over to Tina and wrapped one arm around her waist and pulled her in close for a hug.
Bette: “Im going to miss you two” (kissing Tinas neck)
Tina: “Youll see me again……..just give me a day or two to find myself, ok”
The cab was outside, honking.
Tina looked into Bettes eyes and gave her a kiss on her lips. “Ill talk to you soon, ok”, Tina said.
Bette: (tears in her eyes) “Ok, Tee……..talk to you later”
Tina and Bette came out off the guestroom into the livingroom, where Charlot was.
Tina: “Charlot…..were going to visit grandma and grandpa…….and stay with them for a while”
Charlot: “Yeeeaaarrrr………is Bette comming too?”
Tina: “No sweety……..but youll see her later…….so give her a hug and were on our way”
Charlot came over to Bette and Bette kneeled down and hugged Charlot. Tina opened the door and she and Charlot got in the cab, while Bette stood in the doorway, wawing goodbye……

i love Bette and Charlot together Charlot seems like her a lot and kids love is so pure and about Tina why she need space from Bette? iam glad Bette was able to open up with Tina was a big step ok great chapter as always post soon

Hello Trolle great chapter as always… Wow Melvin was meano once… but he is better now… Hope Tina will visit Bette soon. Men Bette har vel også noget arbejde hun skal passe…. Good to see Bette open up to Tina…Jeg er klar til næste kapitel så kom bare an med det der drama;-)
Very interesting chaptr. I like Charlet”s effect on Melvin (Maybe she will help mellow him out.) Perhaps Tina and Charlo being away will help Bette come on out of her shell. What a difference a day makes (First she was kind of bothered about them being in her personal space and now she don’t wnat hem to leave.). Maybe with them gone she will be able to concentrate on work without having to worry about hurring back home. Although, I know that she will miss comming home to them. I think that Melvin was trying to extend an olive branch to Bette. She needs to take it and try to rebuild thier relationship. I hope that Tina will continue to encourage her to do this. Please continue.
