Kit puts her cell phone in her pocket and walks back inside, noticing that Bette hasn’t moved while she was on the phone. Bette looks up at Kit ” Everything ok?” she asks as Kit enters the room. ” Yes more than ok”, Kit replies with a big smile on her face. ” I got one more reason for you to look at the DVD’s” she says as she walks up to her baby sister. ” Oh yeah, what might that be? As Bette can not understand, why a call from The Planet would give her that smile and a reason.
” That was Tina”, Kit says softly and seriously but still with a bit of a smile. Bette looks up at her sister and holds her breath, she gets a bit pale and her whole body gets tight. “T..T..Tina? Why would she call you from The Planet?” she asks her sister. ” Well I have to tell you this, I phoned Angus this morning as I realized I needed to speak to Tina after what you said to me last night”. “No, don’t worry I’m not breaking my promise” as she sees her sister face getting red and angry. ” I just had to speak to her about the card I sent her and to explain why I did it. You know, I shoved in a little note to ask her permission to let Angelica come to the wedding with you. And after last night, I realized this was not the best way to do it. It’s a bit impersonal and not very subtle. So I called Angus if he could get hold of her, as I wasn’t sure she would answer the phone when she saw it was me. She knows I’m here to tell you about the wedding. She was at The Planet and Angus asked her if she was willing to speak to me, that’s why she phoned from there”.
All the time Bette is just staring at her sister hardly able to breath and able to move, just hearing Tina’s name already has that effect on her.

 ” So the big news is SHE LETS ANGEL COME TO THE WEDDING!”  She screams out loudly and bends over to hug her sister. Bette is so astonished and surprised what she just heard that she can’t move. Kit pulls her up from the couch, takes Bette’s face in her hands and looks her in the eyes. ” Bette did you just hear what I said”, she shakes Bette a bit by the shoulders to get her back to earth. ” Yes, I think I do” Bette says softly as realization sets in. ” She really said that? T..Tina said it was ok when I take Angel to your wedding?” She asks surprised and with a voice full of emotions. ” Yes, yes she did” Kit says as she holds Bette tight by her shoulders, looking her straight in the eyes. Tears well up in Bette’s eyes and she puts her arms around Kit, but this time it are tears of joy and relieve.
After a few moments Kit pulls herself back from  Bette’s embrace and says
” Let’s make a big pot of tea and go the Bette Porter cinema to have a big movie marathon so you can catch up with your daughters life!” “Yes, let’s do that” Bette says with a smile as she wipes her tears from her face.
