Bette tries to have a lie in the next day as she woke up several times during the night. She isn’t in a rush anyway as she knows she can’t go and see Angelica today. So she sleeps a bit longer and works the rest of the morning till early afternoon. She has lunch in a restaurant near the beach and has a long walk along the seashore. All the time during her lunch and walk she thinks only of one thing. ‘ I wish I could see her today’ and she relives yesterday’s reunion with her daughter over and over again.
She sits for about an hour in the sand just watching the waves, well she looks at them but doesn’t really see them. Her mind is completely somewhere else, so she also has no notion of the woman that has been looking at her and is making her way up to her.
” Hi there, I’ve noticed you are sitting here for more than hour and have hardly moved. Would you like to join me for a cup of coffee or something?” she asks. Bette returns to reality and looks up to the woman. The woman has long ginger colored hair with freckles in her nice and friendly face. At first Bette was going to say “No” but than thinks ‘ Why not, might get my mind of her a bit’. ” Yes ok, why not.” As she gets up, the woman reaches out her hand to pull her up from the sand. Bette grabs it and gets up, as soon as she stands she shakes the hand ” Hi, Bette pleased to meet you.” ” Hi to you, I’m Nicole, my friends call me Nicky” Bette has notices her long fingers and slim hands and as she stands next to the woman, she also notices that they are about the same height.
They walk from the seashore to the boulevard and go inside a coffee bar. As they make their walk over to the coffee bar, Bette glances at her a few times to take in the woman’s figure. Inside they order a coffee and chit chat a bit, till the woman asks if she lives here or just visiting. Bette gets a shade over her eyes, the woman sees that and puts her hand over Bette’s hand to comfort her. But Bette feels comfortable around her, so is willing to tell her the reason, so they end up ordering some more drinks as Bette tells her the story of her being there.

Please don’t let Bette see this Nicky, she needs to get back with Tina and make things right between them.

Your story makes me sad, happy, angry…I am starting to feel like Tina.lol. I am a B&T fan all the way but since Tina can’t make up her mind, I say let Bette find some confort in someone else for a little while. Great story, awaiting the next chapter bonaire.

I know people are upset with Tina and they have every right to be. But, there is this nagging feeling that I have had all season and that is these two women really do love each other. I know that they say sometimes love is not enough, but without love what is the purpose of living. When there is someone out there and you know that person is there you just have to give it all that you have and maybe even more than you are capable of at that moment. Love is just too precious to walk out on because for some it never comes.
