When the door opens, the first thing Bette sees is Angelica and a big smile appears on her face. Then she looks up and the smile freezes on her face as she sees Tina standing there with a sweaty, flustered face.
You? Bette brings out as she finally gets her senses back, she was blown backwards for a minute by the unexpected site of the blond woman.
Is this one of Kits tricks again? she asks cool as she looks up and down Tinas body, noticing the sweat and tired face. She sees Tinas hand tremble as she runs them insecurely through her hair and puts a string behind her ear. Bettes heart has started beating a bit faster after it had skipped one beat first by the surprise.
II guess, you could say that. Tina replies as her eyes flick insecurely from one eye to another. Bette stood there, not knowing what to do really. Was she going to let Tina in or not? Did she want Tina in her house and life or not? She saw the insecurity and felt sorry for Tina, even though she didnt want to. But her heart took over from her mind as she looked at the woman in front of her, struggling to look normal.
You might as well come in now for a minute. I dont think Angelica likes to sit much longer. Bette says finally as she sees Angelica wiggling her little body to get out of the chair. So Bette pulls the push chair in and Tina follows them with the Samsonite.
Bette lets Angelica out and lifts her up to hug and kiss her.
Im so happy to see you, my little Angel. She says to her with a voice that shows all the love she has. Tina takes in the scene and again she realizes how wrong she has been. Bette puts Angelica down, who starts to walk around to explore the house. Bette looks up to Tina, who is still standing near the door with the suitcase next to her. Tina has followed them inside but doesnt know what to do next, she feels so insecure and foolish as well. It doesnt seem like such a good idea any more, now she has seen Bettes reaction.

Thanks for not leaving us hanging out here too long boni! Yay!! So glad that Bette is finally getting that “Porter Pride” in check. Now that her brain is “playing nicely” with her heart, and has asked Tina to stay, maybe they can get back on the right track. Bette needs to forgive Tina as though she has never been hurt; she should forget the pains of the past, and trust in the love she has for Tina and their daughter.

I also thought it was great that Bette decided to let Tina stay. There is no better place for their reunion than the south of France (okay, Paris, of course, but I’m bais!)
