“No I haven’t” Bette answered
“Yes you have”
“Ok maybe I have”
“Why?”
“You know why T”
“I do?”
“You do”
“Yeah well maybe I do, I’m sorry”
“For what?” Bette asked
“For everything….look I don’t want to do this over the phone maybe we can talk after the opening”
“Ok sure”
“About tomorrow, are we still going together?” Tina asked
“Yeah, listen I was just going to call you about that maybe, given our current situation….”
“Bette stop don’t do this I really want to go there with you I mean that is if you’re not going with anyone else? Are you going with someone else?”
“No. of course not I said I would go with you I just don’t want things to be awkward between us, we were just getting to be in a good place in each others lives again I don’t want to ruin that.”
“Bette, I promise after your show I will explain everything ok”
“Ok, T I trust you”
Silence
“Babe, I trust you too” Tina whispered
Bette smiled she loved it when Tina called her babe.
“Can you meet me at the house? Or do you want me to pick you up?” Tina asked
“No, umm… if you don’t mind I actually need to go to your house I left my outfit that I plan on wearing there”
“Ok I’ll see you then, I can’t wait”
“Bye T”
“Bye babe”
‘God I love that woman’ Bette whispered she felt better, she was finally able to concentrate, she went about her day putting the finishing touches on her show.
The next morning Bette was up early she dressed in Jeans and a T-shirt she was going down to the galley to make sure things got off to a good start when she got there she was happy to see James was already there helping the caters set up.
“Good Morning James”
“I see your already busy”
“Good morning boss, and yes already busy”
“You’ve been getting deliveries non stop from well wishers, flowers, cards you name it, even Franklin sent you an arrangement”
“Really” Bette said surprised
“Well make sure you keep all the cards, we need to send Thank you cards”
“I already have a list going”
“Great, what would I do without you”
“Dunno” James shrugged his shoulders
Bette laughed as she headed for her office.
On her desk she saw a huge arrangement of red roses and a bottle of very expensive champagne.
She wondered why James had left this arrangement here and not out on the floor with the rest she pulled the card and immediately noticed the writing as Tina’s Bette couldn’t help but smile as she opened the card.
Babe,
I know your going to be a huge success.
Can’t wait to see you tonight.

P.S save the champagne for later, so we can celebrate.
Bette’s face hurt she was smiling so much, what does this mean? Bette asked herself and suddenly the day could not go by fast enough.

Yea Tina, step up your A-game. Bette needs to feel your love. But first thing, at the opening, tell her that you and Helena have not been together since the day she came to your house, and that she has already found someone else. This should make Bettes opening a huge success and she will feel like flying. That bit of news will really make her day. Thanks for posting.

I am glad Bette got to tell Tina how she was feeling but I was disappointed that Tina didn’t step up and tell the truth. It was like she was willing to make love to Bette and have Bette feel all guilty about cheating on Helena. Not cool T. anywho, I am sure she will make it up to her, but I sense the end is near for this story. Please say it isn’t so! I could read this story for another 50 chap and not get bored. It’s that good!! I love it no matter how many chaps we get. pps

Hey iluvmuzic, That note was sweet music to my ears as Tina is finally ready to tell Bette how she feels. I do hope that this will be a recommensement of their relationship. It would be the same as before however it can be wonderful and loving again. Bette and Tina are in such different places now compared to then. This is their chance to show how grown up they are and ready to make this relatioship work for a lifetime. I can’t wait to read more.Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
