Chapter 63
Gillian speed out of the driveway. The cell in the seat next to her began to ring. She looked at the small screen. It was Tina. She hesitated; press answer or ignore. Her finger hovered over the answer button for a moment as Vogue filled the car. After a second she pressed the ignore button and then the power button. She dropped the phone in her bag. Tears ran down her cheeks.
“She didn’t answer.” Tina said hurrying back to the car.
“Where are you going?” Bette asked.
“To follow her.” Tina answered slamming the driver’s side door.
“Shit. Hey let me drive you are in no state to drive.” Bette said opening the door.
“No you drive like old lady.” Tina said.
“Fine.” Bette said. She jogged around the car and got in the passenger side. Tina punched the gas as soon as the door slammed shut.
“Now which way did she go?” Tina asked.
“It’s Gillian there’s no telling.” Bette said quickly buckling her seat belt.
“I bet she’s going to the beach house.” Tina said and turned left out of the drive way hoping to cut her off.
“Tina I really don’t think is a good idea.” Bette said.
“She’s running away. How is it not a good idea?” Tina almost yelled.
“I’m not saying we shouldn’t look for her but maybe chasing her down is the best way to start.” Bette said.
“Do you want out of the car?” Tina asked.
“No.” Bette answered.
“Then sit there and be quiet.” Tina snapped.
“Okay now I want out of the car. Tina, If you catch her what are you going to do. You can’t exactly drag her home. All you are going to do is push her away.” Bette said. She was infuriated.
Tina stopped the car and looked at Bette. Bette opened the door and got out. Tina sped off.
“I can’t believe this.” Bette said and started back towards the house.

Gillian pulled into a small airport just outside of LA. She sat in the car just staring at the window.

Gillian’s grandmother should have stayed out of this mess. tina is gonna flip. i hope gillians dad can talk some sense into her or maybe peggy can, or helena, Gill can’t be running away anytime she feels like it!

Being almost 17,not much Tina can do after that. The grandmother should have stayed out of this. Well the G/M does have the money to do as she pleases. Gillian is head strong. I firmly believe that Skylar will be very up set with Gillian. thanks

I know some people that know some people… Just one phone call and Skylar…” =) I am definitely 100% sure I would ‘over-react’ if my daughter said some sh*t like that to me. “Girl, do you know how long I was in labor with your little @ss?” OK seriously, I cannot comment on this chapter, because I would just get “ignant” and go all the way left on Gillian’s @ss. I’m too hot under the collar to think rationally at the moment. Family drama is a b*tch. Great update. I’m waiting to see what happens.
Gillian & Tina really need to talk. Shit hard on Tina having an ex, grandmother etc. who indulge her daughter, not even consulting the mother. Damned that’s hard. PPS

Well, at least you know that she is on a plane in the sky going somewhere. Hopefully, Tina will try and contact Leo and he can help with finding their daughter. Gillian is lucky she did not grow up in the same house as I did.

Very good chapter Charmed. I think that there is enough fault to go around her. A number of comments call Gillian a spoiled brat and childish, well as a parent Tina should what type of person she has raised. She raised Gillian to be strong minded and to speak her mind. Knowing this and that she is approaching the age where is will be considered an adult with finiacial resources, she should have approached this subject with a little more tact and accepted Bette’s advise. Yes, the Grandmother should have stayed out of this, but they seldom do. It is the nature of being a grandparent. I remember having to beg my mother for fifty cents and now I see her dole out $20 and more to her grandchildren all the time. I just hope that Skyler can reel Gillian in and Bette can reel Tina in. At least Skyler doing this should impress Tina. PPS :o).
Tina was wrong, Gillian was wrong and Grandma was wrong, the only one right so far is Bette. Tina totally over reacted. She should have had more trust and faith in Gillian, the girls not stupid. Gillian, should have acted as intelligent as she is, but her heart and pride are controlling her right now. Grandma, well she’s just being that. Gillian and Tina really need to talk, and Tina needs to realize that kids no matter how young or how old make mistakes, whats most important is that your their to catch us when we fall. I was in Gillian’s position at just about her age only the person was a lot older, my Mother wasn’t happy about it, but when it all fell apart a couple of years later, she was their to pick me up and give me a hug.

This gone wrong and pulled out of shape brat gets slowly but for certain on my nerves
Tina played into Gillian’s grandmother’s hands. It seems the old woman has always wanted to have Gillian under her charge and now she does and Tina can’t do a thing about it. I hope that Leo and Bette can intervene and stop this situation before too much damage occurs between Tina and Gillian.
