    A Walk on the Wild Side

    Tina almost laughed out loud at the site in front of her.

     Erm, Why exactly are you flapping your hands out in front of you like that? Tina asked her left eye brow raised quizzically

    Bette paused for effect, relieved at her quick thinking before she answered

     Im Blind! she explained proudly! ______________________________________________________________________ Chapter 5

    Youre what?! Exclaimed Tina, hardly believing her ears

    Bette felt slightly less confident than she had a few seconds before.

    Um, Im Blind? She questioned hopefully.

    You are Elizabeth Porter arent you? Tina questioned, hoping they hadnt picked the wrong person up at the airport.

    You can call me Bette Bette replied, flashing one of her trademark glittering smiles.

    And you are something in the arts world, right? Tina Clarified.

    I am the director of the California Arts Centre Bette replied proudly.

    Oh Tina said. I dont think Ive ever met a blind Art director! What do you do? Feel the paintings?!

    Bette suddenly realised there was a fatal flaw in her perfect plan. Actually there were many, but three most pressing.

    The first was how she explained away her profession coupled with her blindness,

    The second was the king size headache coming on. Probably caused by deliberately blurring her eyes so that she couldnt see anything in focus.

    The third was how she was ever going to keep this up for 2 weeks!!!

    Bette needed to put some space between her and the intoxicating blonde in front of her. So she stood and stretched her legs, moving towards the back of the Land Rover.

    Bette needed to gather her thoughts. What in the ***** Just happened? She wondered. She thought back a few minutes to her first glimpse of the attractive blonde artist, and how she had reacted.

    I dont understand, she thought. Bette knew that she was instantly attracted to Tina, but that didnt explain the panic she felt when she tried to talk to her, It didnt explain her openly admiring the Blondes ample charms, and it sure as ***** didnt explain her lie about being blind!

    I have to fix this, thought Bette. Bette was so engrossed in trying to figure out what she was feeling, and how to get out of her predicament, that she failed to notice the rucksack that she had stowed a few minutes before, as she stumbled over it and practically threw herself at the back door.

    2. alright I guess you can have dessert, but not to much cause you know you have to watch your weight LOL. THis chapter OMG I’m LMAO right now. I do have a question? which eyebrow is the cut on?? Me and bette might have to share our battle wound stories LOL. Great as always, this story is awesome.
