“Because this is a gay bar, and they all have eyes,” Shane answered, scanning the line.

            “You’re fresh meat,” Dana added, shrugging when Tina shot her a look.

            “You’ve never been here before, Tina,” Alice explained as they finally settled at the end of the line. “We’re always looking for new faces. Means you probably haven’t gotten tangled up with
anyone else here. Thus, you’re fair game.”

            Tina gaped at her, incredulously. “I thought I was supposed to take my pick tonight. Not be swarmed by a bunch of lesbians that want a shot with me! Ugh, I don’t know if I’m up for this,” she
groaned.

            Alice took a hold of Tina’s shoulders and gruffly turned to face her. “Tee, this is a bar. I’m sure you’ve been to one before, so you know how it goes. You promised to play along tonight!”
Alice urged. “I know you can do better than this.”

            Tina’s face sunk as she looked down at the floor. “I know, I’m sorry. One night. I’ll stop whining, I promise. I just hate being ogled,” she said, meeting the gaze of a few other women in line
and leaning closer to Alice for comfort.

            “Yeah, it’s the worst thing ever,” Alice breathed sarcastically. “Now we’re gonna make this fun alright, just follow our lead and we’ll help you navigate.” As the line started to move, she
guided Tina forward. “Really, you’ll thank us after tonight for being so awesome!”

            An excited hand at the small of the blonde’s back guided her through the entrance. The place was packed full of scantily clad women, some getting close to each other at the bar tables and
more on the dance floor moving seductively in groups. A live DJ was stationed up at the front on a raised stage, providing a slow and steady beat as the multicolored lights above rotated, painting the audience. Alice took her hand and dragged a distracted Tina along as she followed Shane and Dana to the bar for some drinks to begin the night with.

            “Gin and tonic,” Shane called, leaning forward on the green lit bar.

            “Make that two!” Alice added, holding up two fingers and mouthing ‘two’ for reference.

            “Three,” said Tina, eyes never leaving the activity on the dance floor.
