Tina was annoyed but determined.
Tina: What do you want me to do to make you believe that I want you and only you. I’m not here to mess with your head or get you into bed. I’m here to make you realize that there is no one else in this world for me but you. You complete me somehow. I don’t know why I was running from it.
Bette: I don’t believe you. When Eric comes your going to see him and go right back to him
Tina: Why are you so stubborn. Just listen to me
Bette: Anyone can say what they want, I go by what people’s actions are, and you have certainly proved to want exactly opposite of what you say.
Tina: Fine then I won’t see him, I’ll mail him his ***** ring and I’ll end it over the phone. I will do anything to show you that you are the one for me, and Eric is nothing
Bette: Prove it
Tina: Fine
She was near tears at this point but she wanted Bette to know. She reached into her bag and pulled out her cell phone. She flipped it open and dialed Eric’s number, She put it on speaker phone so that Bette could hear every word. Eric didn’t pick up though his voicemail came on. Just as Tina was about to speak Bette came over and shut the phone.
Bette’s eyes welled up in tears as she looked at Tina.
Bette: Tina I know you mean well but I can’t keep dong this with you. Its just too much to handle for me. I want what’s best for you and apparently it’s not me. You put that ring on because you want that life. You don’t want me.
Tina: That’s not true. Bette please believe me. Why won’t you believe me. I want to be with you.
Bette shook her head. She wasn’t going to fall into Tina’s arms again. It was just too hard to deal with the heartache. It wasn’t worth the tears anymore. She took hold of Tina’s hand. She gently took Tina’s ring finger and looked at it. It was slightly swollen from all the pulling and twisting they had done earlier. She kissed the finger.

So you weren’t going to let our lovebirds get right back to where they were. poor Bette, she’s messed up. Come on, they both fall asleep and when they wake up we start anew. Bette does not need to go out and pick someone up, that will really mess things up.

great chapter. even though it is very sad, I am glad to see that Tina has to find a way to prove to Bette how much she loves her. I hope Bette does go out and pick up a hot chick at the club. But she won’t be Tina! I just hope Bette is not too mean to Tina in front of the twink. but this is your world, so do your thing girl!

I understand that Bette is hurt, but for a bried moment, I hated her for this comment, “Why wont you just go home? Your not going to want to be here when I get back, I’ll probably have company. Not the sort of company you would enjoy seeing.”
Being hurt doesnt give anyone the right to be so cruel!
