Jennifer: Ok ladies so what will it be poker, spades, black jack what?

Shane: Let’s play poker. Lick her in the front and poker in the rear

Everone laughs…They all played their game…All of the women enjoyed themselves mostly Carmen if anything…To embark on people in this world that stick together…People that are real that you know you can count on that will be there for you…The feeling that the women gave her was pure…From the moment that she had met them they took her in…The women enjoyed barq ribs and chicken wings…Hamburgers and pototoe salad baked beans and a salad…Enough in them all…The time in now 11:00…Bette must be at work tomorrow and so does Alice…Dana has an early practice while Shane has an interview…They must get going…Shane looks at her clock

Shane: Wow it’s getting late. I have to get going soon

Jennifer: Yeah maybe you are right. Are you going to be ok with driving home tonight?

Shane: Yeah. Carmen you are driving me home right?

Carmen: Yes and I’m staying the night

Shane: Yes and that too

Carmen: Yes I’m driving her home

Tina: I am taking Bette

Dana looks at Alice

Dana: I’m driving ms Alice here

Alice is drunk…The beer and the nips got to her…She was leaning on Dana to have another night with drunk Alice…This makes Dana upset a bit because lately she has been carrying Alice alot…They need to have a talk…She kisses her on her forehead

Dana: I love you Al

Bette: Ok lets go

She rises from the table…She shakes Carmen’s mother’s hand one last time…When her mother shook hands with her she had on a firm grip…It was a squeeze and then a release…Bette pulls her hand back…And she looks down at Tina

Bette: Ready

Tina: Yes

Alice and Dana rise as well…They all shake Jennifer’s hand another time before turning to leave…Carmen kisses her

Carmen: I’ll see you tomorrow mom

Jennifer: Ok precious

She kisses Carmen on the forehead…Carmen follows after the women as they all go and get into their cars…They start their engines and they pull of…As they each drove their separates routes…Bette and Tina arrice home…Tina pulls into the driveway…She shuts the car off and opens the door…Se goes over to the passenger side…She opens it and helps Bette out of the car…

Bette: T I got it

Tina: No you don’t babe I’m gonna help you

Bette: T look at me

Tina does as she looks into Bette’s brown eyes

Bette: I’m drunk. I’m not crazy enough to leave you top drag me off to bed while you are carrying out child. I love you too much to do that to you

A tear forms in Tina’s eyes

Tina: Thank you I appreciate that very much. In here

Tina beings Bette’s hand to her chest…She then lifts it up tp her face and kisses Bette’s palm

Tina: I love you

Bette: I love you more T

Tina takes Bette’s hand in hers…She leads them up the stairs and into the house…They changed into their night clothes and then they get into bed…They are both laying there looking at the celing…Until Tina turns and lays on her side…Bette turns and looks at Tina from behind….She slowly moves to Tina’s side as she wraps her arm around her lover’s waist…They both fall asleep…As time goes the summer sun is at it’s peak…Slowly waking up the streets as time is making beats on people’s alarm clocks killing their sleep…
