Tina: Yes Dana for sure and a blanket or a sheet for you to lay down on. The rest of the things just leave it to me.

Alice: Sounds good. Are you all planning on getting in the water?

Tina: No I am keeping dry

Alice: Oh come on TK it will be fun

Tina: I’ll think about it. I’m not into beach water

Bette enters

Bette: And neither am I. That’s why we have a pool

Bette looks down at Tina

Bette: T are we ready to go?

Tina: Yes

Tina rises from the table…She places both her and Bette’s cups in the sink

Alice: Where are you two heading to?

Tina: The planet. We will eat breakfast there.

Alice: Ok

They all leave the house and head to their cars…Bette and Tina in theirs with Alice following behind them

Bette: Is there any word on Shane and Carmen?

Tina: No. Why?

Bette: Because I haven’t seen them since the cookout and I wonder do they know about tonight?

Tina: I’m sure they do. Maybe we’ll see them at the planet and if it gets worse I can always call her

Bette: Your right

Bette pulls in front of the planet….Alice pulls up behind them…They exit their cars and head into the planet

They take there usual seats near the bar…They search around looking for Shane but instead they run into Carmen

Carmen: Hey you guys?

Alice/Bette/Tina: Hey

Bette: Where is Shane?

Carmen: On her way here. Why?

Bette: Are you all still up for tonight?

Carmen: What’s happening tonight?

Bette looks at Tina who looks at Alice

Bette/Tina: Alice

Alice: I did tell her atleast I thought I did

Bette: Never mind

Bette turns to Carmen

Bette: Anyway we are all going to beach tonight and you and Shane should come

Carmen: That is so cool. I’ve never been to the beach at night

Bette: And that is why you should come

Tina: There would be food there and beers as well as some wine. But you have to bring a blanket or a sheet though

Carmen: Sounds good. What time is this event taking place?

Tina: About 8:00. We figured that we would wait until the heat wave ends

Carmen: Well I’m there. Speaking of the devil

Shane walks in she spots the women at the table…She immediately walks over

Shane: Alice, Bette, Tina

Bette/Tina: Hi Shane

Alice: Hey

Carmen: You made it

Shane: Finally. I had to go with Jenny and check her into the hospital

Tina: How did it go?

Shane: It was ok. She was very emotional and that’s understood and she gave me all of the information for the house while she is gone

Bette: Information?

Shane: The billing information for the utilities and the payments on the house that type of stuff

Bette: So that means that you will be alone

Shane: Yes.

Bette looks at Tina and then back at Shane…They both smile

Shane: What now?

Bette: Nothing

Carmen: Baby what are you doing tonight?

Shane: Nothing why what’s up?

Carmen: Well we were invited to the beach tonigh. So do you wanna go?

Shane: Sure. I have no plans

Carmen: Good

Carmen turns to Bette

Carmen: So where are we meeting at?

Bette: We all can meet at my house. I can give you and Shane a ride if you like

Carmen/Shane: Great
