Tina: Bette

Bette stops at the door…Her back is turned to Tina…She knows that is she looks at her that it would make her weak…She has to fight it

Bette:Yes

Tina: I’m sorry. Please don’t leave me like this

Bette turns to Tina

Bette: Don’t leave you like what? Do you know how that feels? Do you? Let me show you

Bette turns around and walks out the room…She heads to the door and opens it…Tina yells

Tina: BETTE!

Bette closes the door…She heads to the car…She cuts the car on and backs out of the driveway…Tina opens the door…Bette sees her out the corner of her eye…She shifts the car in drive and pulls off…Tina slams the door

Tina: *****!

THE PLANET(EXTERIOR)

Bette pulls up in front of the planet…She parks the car…She shuts it off and leans forward onto the steering wheel…Tears form in her eyes as she lets them fall down onto the car mat…She shakes her head from side to side…Kit comes outside with the open sign…She places it down and she looks up at the sky and she takes in the morning sun…She sees a blue car that looks like Bette’s…She turns to go back inside but the car catches her attention…She sees a woman in the front seat lying forward…She turns and walks in the direction of the car…She approaches it slowly and looks through the mirror..She sees that it’s Bette…She reaches for the handle but the door is locked…She knocks on the window…Bette doesn’t answer…Kit’s heart bumps faster…She knocks on the window again…Bette looks up at Kit…Her eyeliner is smeared under her eyes…She unlocks the door…Kit opens the door before she does and helps her out of the car…Bette starts to cry

Bette: I walked out on her

Kit: Who?

Bette: Tina. I ***** left her. No kiss no loving no talking. I just left

Bette’s cries get louder

Kit holds Bette in her arms and she pats her head

Kit: Shhh. Let’s go to my office

They start to walk and Kit pulls her back

Kit: Wait lets fix your face. I don’t need everyone all up in our business

Kit helps Bette with her make up…They head to the planet into her office…Bette takes a seat and so does Kit…Kit takes her hands in hers…They feel cold so she rubs hers aganst Bette’s to warm them…

Kit: Now what happened?

Bette: She came to apologize and then…And she. I have to go

Kit stands up

Kit: Wait tell me what happened first

Bette: I can’t we made an agreement not to discuss our problems with other people. We said that we would keep it amongst ourselves therefore it causes less confusion. I gotta go

Bette gets up and grabs her purse

Kit: Are you sure you aright?

Bette: Kit I’m fine. But I think that I need to do this on my own. But thank you for having my back

Kit: Your welcome…baby..sis

Bette: I’ll call you later

Kit: Ok

Bette exits Kit’s office…She stops by the bathroom and cleans her face up…She looks good and sharp…She heads to ger car and drives to work…She hopes that the day won’t be stressful but it would be a day of conditioning the brain…She arrives at the CAC…She takes the elevator up to the lobby level…James is on the phone with a call…He ends it as soon as he sees Bette

James: Boss boss

Bette looks at James

James: I mean Bette now before you head to your office I thought that I would tell you that you have a visitor

Bette is around the corner from her office

Bette: What? Who is it? Tina? It’s Tina isn’t it?

Bette arrives in front of her door…James jumps in front of her

James: It’s not Tina

Bette: Then who?

She places her hand on her forhead

Bette: God please no Candace

James: No it’s not Candace

Bette: Then who?

James opens the door…Bette’s mouth opens wide…She drops her bag on the floor…
