Love at Sea

It was their last day on the boatride and the ocean looked absolutely gorgeous at night. They were sailing back to the harbor after have a fun packed weekend of jet skiing, water skiing, wind-sailing, and swimming. They had even gone snorkeling at a reef and saw all kinds of creatures.

At night the three of them would lie on the deck gazing up at the stars where Bette would show off her extensive knowledge of the stars.

Now on this last night, Bette had to stay up all night to lead them back to the harbor so Tina decided to stay up with her. Mikah had knocked out after all the fun activities they had done that day so the two of them were alone on the upper deck.

Tina glanced at the clock then up at the sky. "The stars look even more gorgeous at midnight," Tina said.

"Do you see that star right there? It’s the shiniest one," Bette said.

"Yeah, it looks closer than all the other ones," Tina said.

"That’s because it is, that’s Venus," Bette said.

"Wow," Tina breathed, "you’re so smart Bette."

"I minored in Astronomy," Bette said.

Tina looked at her in surprise, "really?"

Bette nodded, "I was artist of many talents in my youth but my specialty was always interstellar things. I drew realistic paintings of our solar systems and invent new solar systems with all kinds of colors and stars and planets."

Tina smiled, "that’s amazing. I would like to see one."

"Sure," Bette said, "there’s one in my living room. You can come over."

"It’ll be the first time I’ll have gone to your house," Tina noted.

"And next time you can invite me over to your house for dinner or something," Bette said.

 "Oh? Are you gonna make me dinner?" Tina said.

"Honey I will BE the dinner," Bette teased.

Tina groaned and laid her head on Bette’s shoulder. "You know I was doing okay with 16 years of abstinence until you came along."

Bette chuckled and grabbed one of the two blankets from the side. "Well why wait," Bette said setting the blanket down on the floor.

Tina laughed, "oh enough of that teasing."

Bette gave her a serious expression and sat down on the blanket. She started unbuttoning her shirt seductively. Tina gulped and moved to sit in front of Bette.
