    What happens when Tina calls Angelica. Is the little girl alright? Or not? Let’s find out…

    Bette squeezed Tina’s hand. With the other hand, Tina dried her tears.

    “It will be okay, Tina.”

    “I hope so, Bette. I hope so.”

    They kept holding hands the whole flight. It was their way to stay calm.

    When Bette and Tina finally arrived, it was 5PM. They called a cab and drove to Tina’s old house.

    “How are we going to do this?” Bette asked.

    “I don’t have a plan, Bette. Let’s just see what happens. If something goes wrong, we can call the police.”

    “Can I help?” The taxi driver suddenly asked.

    “Uhm, yeah… you could stay outside the house and if you see something goes wrong, call the police.” Tina said.

    “And don’t worry about the money, we will pay you.” Bette added.

    “Okay, then I’ll do it.” The taxi driver said.

    “Thanks.” Bette and Tina reacted in union.

    After a while, they arrived at the house. It was a white house with a grey roof and a white picket fence. ‘Typical house…’ Bette thought and inwardly rolled her eyes. The taxi driver stayed in the car while the two women got out and walked to the door. Bette rang the bell. After a while, Henry appeared.

    “Tina? Bette? W… What are you doing here?” He asked. He had surprise and panic written all over his face.

    “We are here to get the kids.” Tina said.

    Bette decided to stay out of the conversation unless it was necessary. She knew she would begin screaming, yelling and maybe even hitting him but she knew it would not help the case, she also thought Tina could handle this.

    “Tina, you told me I could keep them until next week.” Henry began sweating.

    “When I called Angelica was crying, telling me that you were mean and hit her. I’m not going to let you hurt my little girl. And I don’t want my sons to be around a man who beats people.”

    “Tina, I never touched Angelica.” He didn’t sound convincing.

    “Let me see her then. Prove that you didn’t beat her.” Tina said.

    Henry frowned. “Why would I? And why did you have to bring your ex-girlfriend? Are you too weak to ‘save’ your kids yourself?”

    Bette was getting angrier and angrier, she couldn’t stop herself. She stepped forward and calmly said to Henry: “Okay, listen to me, asshole. Let us see OUR daughter or otherwise we will call the police. Do you understand me?”

    2. Poor Angelica, Bette should have called the police there and then, beating a child is the lowest of the low. Can’t believe you left it there!! I really want to see Bette’s reaction! lol.

Its sooo nice of you to post this new chapter i thought that i have to wait for like a week but you sure surprised me im smiling from ear to ear now!!B-)..anyway i soo like the way this story is going so far although i agree with endeavor that tina should have reported what happened to the police..but hey that’s totally okay:-) cant wait for the next chappy!

    5. Tina should have had Angie checked out at a hospital and the Police should have been called. This man should not be allowed to see any of these children…You let these abusive guys off too easily, but I do like your story. Please keep posting.

    7. Totally agree with endeavour and the others. The police should have been called, pictures of her little body taken and she should have been taken to the hospital to see if he had sexually assaulted her, which is entirely possible. Tina is a damned fool to have left her daughter that she knew he did not like, anything could have happened to her and I think it did. Angel must be examined immsediately. Thanks for posting.
