Erika: (liberating her arm) my son will never go to your house anymore
Kevin: Erica you know Logan likes to play with John and all the time he comes back after spend time in his home, he comes crying and now I know why, because there he sees a normal and lovely family and with you he sees an unstable woman
Bette: my son has no fault you have problem in your home AND if you’re sexual frustrate
Erika: oh you dike son of a *****
Ms Elliot: Erica stop saying this, you’re in my school and I will not tolerate prejudice here, John is one of the smartest and kind kids I have here and he is raised with love, values and knowing how to respect the others, I told you already he wasn’t even near Logan when he felt, it was an accident , and you know that he is not an angel too
Kevin: I know that already Jane and for me that misunderstood end here and now
Bette: ( real close to Erika) I will give you an advice your crazy, don’t you ever I say ever yell to my son again or you will regret
Paramedic: im sorry to interrupt this lovely moment but the boy is ready to go to the hospital to take x ray and being immobilized
Logan’s mom got of the room while Kevin went to talk to Bette
Kevin: im so sorry Bette tell John im sorry, Logan likes to play with him very much
Bette: im sorry too Kevin and tell Logan he will be always welcome in my home to play with John
Later in the afternoon in the Kennard Porter kingdom
Bette was in the back yard lost in her thoughts in silence when Tina showed up
Tina: both are sleeping now. Can you explain me what happened beside
Bette: She blamed him because she didn’t like us. (with sarcasm) She doesn’t want our sons together because John’s is the son of the sin. She said him that we are dykes and he is bad
Tina: (angry) WHAT?? How could someone be so cruel with a child? (hugging Bette and squeezing her arm) But we knew that it could happen sooner or later
Bette: (looking sad) I know but I never felt so incompetent and useless as a mother the way I felt today, I couldn’t protect my own son, I just stay there listen to that woman disrespect me and my family and say nothing
Tina: babe you’re an amazing mother and I’m very proud of you, you cant protect him all the time, you cant be there for him and in the future for Eve, all the time, he have to learn how to protect himself from those kind of people, and never lower his head to discrimination
Bette: I will kill that woman if she hurt him again
Tina: (smiling) ok wonder mom, lets go to bed
They were laying talking in the bed when John showed up holding his teddy with bushy behind him
John: mamma can we sleep here?
Bette: yeah baby you can but no bushy you know the rule
John: (bending) go back bushy you know the rule
Bushy went to Johns room to his dog bed
John climbed the bed and snuggled between his mothers
Tina: are you feeling ok baby?
John: Why I have not a daddy?
Tina: (holding him) you have one, and when you are bigger enough we’ll tell you everything about him. He just doesn’t live with us. There are a lot of different families, for example,
John: yep, and bushy is family too
Tina (smiling) Yes, but what’s important is that we love each other and care about each other, we love you very much, don’t you like to have two moms and a little sister?
John (smiling) I luv mommy and mamma and I luv Eve but luv bushy more cuz she’s not funny, she only cries and sleep and do smelly “popo” she never plays with me
Bette (laughing) Yes, that’s we can see
John: mamma I want my story
Bette: (kissing and bringing him close)I was waiting for that

crazy ass, tight ass, assholes like that need their asses kicked severely. i know that eventually they’ll have to deal with more discrimination but why does it always have to involve the child. that’s just beyond cruel that’s just some kind of evil. brilliant chap as always. please post soon. Bette & Tina handled John’s questions lovingly and with honesty. Logan’s mother is beyond cruel…she’s evil to abuse an innocent child. She thinks he’s a product of sin..what is she? She pissed me off. Okay…I’m calming down..but still a little pissed. Thanks for the chapter..great job.

1st of all I’m totally frustrated for missing the previous chapters.. lack of free time.. so I just read them all and what a rollercoaster.. 2nd this was a very nice chapter, liked the very sensitive topic it was about.. Poor lil John..
