One minute later Tina came to the living room still no sign of John
Tina: Bette I’m worried
Bette: I will check with Shane, call Kit and the girls please
5 minutes later Bette entered the house with Shane close behind, Tina was still calling the girls crying now, with Eve still crying in her arms
Bette: (hugging Tina) baby he can’t have gone too far away. I will start look for him now. You stay home with Eve, I call you when I find him
Shane: I will help too down the other way and I already called Carmen
Tina: (crying) Bette it is getting darker I’m scared
Bette: baby I will find him, I promise
Not so far from home, John is walking with bushy when a man sees them from the other side of the street, he crossed the street to where John was
Man: hey little man, do you want ice cream?
John: yep

Tina: Please Bette when you find him, don’t be mad please
Bette: (already mad) How I won’t be mad? He breaks my collection. Do you have an idea how much it costs?
Tina: Well, it’s not always about money, it’s about him being safe,.he’s a child, our child
Bette: (cutting her off) don’t you think I want him safe? And that’s why he needs to be punished, to learn how to behave
Tina: (mad too) I bet it’s for fear of being punished he went away, I told you already, you can’t raise him having fear, he has to learn to respect you
Bette: (already leaving) And now he will learn to not go away anymore
Tina: (grabbing Bette’s arm) You really want him to be a Porter, don’t you?
Bette: (surprised) what do you mean?
Tina: Will he grow up with high expectations and fear? Like Melvin raised you and Kit?
Bette: (upset) What do you want? He did not raise us up spoiled and he did not turn his back to me like your family did to you (slamming the door)
After Bette have left, Tina started to pace around the room nervous. She had already called the girls. Shane left with Bette and Alice and Dana were driving around the neighborhood. Tina decided to call for more help and comfort
Tina: (on the phone) Hello? Kevin?
Kevin: (surprised) Tina? Wouldn’t you call me later? Isn’t Bette there?
Tina: No, she left. John is missing
Kelvin: (worried) Missing? How?
Tina: He ran away after he broke some of Bette’s art
Kevin: Oh, but everything will be fine I’m sure of it.
Tina: (crying) I hope so, I’m scared Kevin
Kevin: I’m going there, honey you need to stay calm ok? Everything will be fine
Tina: ok
Half and hour later
Kevin was there hugging Tina when Bette came back home. When Bette arrived and saw Tina with him, she got even madder she just entered and said nothing, like Kevin wasn’t there
Tina: (worried) Nothing yet Bette?
Bette: No, I just came to take the telephone number of that friend of mine, who is a cop. Maybe he can help extra officially. It’s soon to make an official report
Tina: You could have called. I would give you the number so you hadn’t need to come
Bette: why? Am I interrupting something?
Tina: (annoyed) what? Oh please don’t be silly, Kevin is just helping and trying to give me some support
Bette: (looking him) I see, great help and support
Tina: Bette, please, don’t be rude

First, who in the world is Mike? Did I miss him somewhere in a previous chapter? Second, Kevin is too touchy-feely. He needs to back off. Third, the bitch who gave birth to Tina (I don’t even remember her name anymore) has some ‘splainin’ to do!

Hope Bette doesn’t lose her temper with John. It’s true what Tina said…you don’t want your child to fear you, you want him/her to respect you. I sure as hell don’t like Kevin calling Tina “honey” or asking why she’s calling when Bette’s there. So Tina’s been having this “relationship/friendship” with Kevin that she’s comfortable with HIM calling her honey? That’s BS. Thanks for the update, please continue.
Great to hear from you, where have you been? I hope Bette settles down before she deals with John. Yes he is a child, but he also needs to know that he should never run away from home like that because most of all his parents LOVE him. Bette needs to get to the bottom of the Kevin deal. Kevin was Sooooooooooo out of line comming over to their house to comfort Tina. If he really wanted to help, he would have been out looking for John, and I caught it when he called her honey. Great chapter with a lot of action, honey :o)
Oh Bette, please be gentle with little John. And Tina’a mom showing up, whoa! She better have thick skin because I think Tina will be laying into her hard!
Too bad Tina’s mother wasn’t standing in the door when Bette said what she said when she was leaving earlier – referring to Melvin “… and he did not turn his back to me like your family did to you (slamming the door)”
ok… i’m glad john was safe…but who the hell is mike… and if he knew bette and tina and kit… where are his brains.. keeping a kig out for over an hour feeding him ice cream…. come pandy… post soon… we need more
I have missed this story and boy what a chapter – drama, drama and more drama…..what is Tina thinking hugging Kevin like that after he called her honey??? Please don’t let Bette punish John to hard….and I can’t wait to see what happens between Tina/mom….post soon….
