Scene: Bette outside Candice Door

Bette outside of Candices apartment trying to compose herself but visible shaken. She looks around as if about to leave then takes a deep breath and knocks.

Candice opens the door to find Bette standing there looking scared & shaken.

Candice: Are you alright? Howd you find me?
Bette: I called Yolanda
Candice: (looking surprised she reaches out her hand) come in.

Bette takes her hand and slowly comes in. Looking down she leans her back against the wall. As Candice closed the door, Bette wraps her arms around Candices waist. Candice hugs her gently holding her.

Bette: (As Bette rests her head on Candices shoulder with her head facing away from her still looking scared she whispers) I need too make love to you.

Candice: (backs Bette off slowly holding her waist looks into Bettes eyes, with pain in her voice) You cant (pause) youre still in Love with Tina, and I cant afford to fall for you any more then I already have.

Bette closes her eyes in pain and starts to breakdown. Candice holds her close, with her hand behind Bettes head slowly lowers it to her shoulder as Bette continues to breakdown in tears of pain and regret.

Candice: (As she strokes the back of Bettes head) Itll be ok baby. Well figure it out. Itll be ok.

Bette looks at her in shock. Not wanting to believe what she just heard. That would be the exact thing Tina would say. OH God was she falling for this woman. Candice begins to kiss her gently first on the forehead, then her eyes, her cheeks, and finally her lips one or two kisses turns passionate, when Bettes need and want for this women can no longer be held back.

Scene: Candice & Yolanda

Yolanda & Candice sitting at a kitchen table in Yolanda Apartment drinking coffee

Yolanda: (looking serious yet concerned) What are you gonna do?

Candice: (shakes her head looking down into her coffee cup as if it will somehow give her the answers) I Dont Know.

Yolanda: You know. You just dont want to think about it too hard.

Candice: Its not like that Yolanda, I could really have something with this women, but now (pause) I dont know if thats possible anymore.

Yolanda: Well, now that you started it youll have too see it thru, and you already knowwherever it leads, someones gonna get hurt.

Candice: (with her elbows on the table and her hands crossed leaning against her mouth looks into the distance as if in a daydream whispers) I know.

Scene: Bette in office

Bette sitting at her office desk looking like she hasnt slept for a week, scribes something on her pad and looks back at her open laptop.

As her office door opens slowly Bette looks up to find a serious Candice staring at her.

Candice: We have to talk
Bette: I know, but now is not the time.
Candice: When?
Bette: (sighs with annoyance) how about tonight at the club on the corner of Santa Monica?
Candice: Are you gonna show up this time?
Bette: I told you before (she stops in mid sentence seeing the dont even expression Candice was giving her)
Bette: (gentler now, almost in a whisper) Yhea, Ill be there.
Candice looks at her with questioning in her eyes.
Bette: (giving in) how about around eight?
Candice: (still serious) Im gonna hold you to that. (as she slowly walks out the office she gently closes the door behind her as if not to disturb what lay behind it.)

No more then two seconds later someone knocks on the door.

Bette: *****! Can I get any privacy around here? (she yells at no one in particular)

Kit: (walks in, takes one look at her sister and abandons her original intent on coming and instead says with concern) We need to talk.

Bette: (looking first up to the ceiling leans her forehead into to her hand looks down at her desk and sighs in complete frustration. Then gets up and starts walking around her office waving her arms) Why does everyone want to talk? What if I dont want to talk? What if I dont need to talk? As a matter of fact I DONT NEED TO TALK! What I need is some ***** peace and quite so I can get some work done.

Kit: Well, There you go. Now doesnt that feel better that you got that off your chest? (Bette rolls her eyes) Listen Bette, if you dont find a way to get some of this stuff out, its gonna start eating you alivecome on now.. look at you.

Bette: (more composed now) Kit, I really dont have the time right now to discuss this with you. Besides Im Fine.

Kit: Yeah, your Fine alright. Being Fine whats got you into trouble in the first place.

Bette: (pleading with her eyes) Kit Please.

Kit: (getting the message) ok, ok, Ill leave you alone. For Now! But your gonna have to talk about it sometime.
End of Scene.

The Club:

Candice sitting at a table (all dressed up) sipping a drink and looking around casually a little nervous, not sure if Bette will show up.

Bette walks over to the table with a drink already in hand, smiles and uncomfortable smile.

Bette: (signaling to an empty chair at the table) May I?
Candice: (smiles) Please.
Bette: (after sitting down) Candice I
Candice: (cutting her off takes Bettes hand that lay on the table) Stop. Before you say or go into how you cant stay, there are a few things I have to tell you.
Bette: (takes a deep breath as if bracing herself) ok.
Candice: (with Bettes hand still in hers takes a deep breath) I never meant for this to happen the way it did. As soon as I knew you had a girlfriend I should have backed off.
Bette: (removing her hand from Candice sits back in her chair and crosses her arms) Yeah, you should have.
Candice: (leaning forward with both hands lying flat on the table looks into Bettes eyes) But I DidntAnd Neither did You.
Bette: (looking all of a sudden guilty gets up to leave) This is pointless.
Candice: (Grabbing her hand and in a pleading voice) Elisabet
Bette: (closes her eyes as if in pain and without opening them still holding Candices hand and turned away from her softly says) I told you not to call me that.
Candice: Why? Its your name.
Bette: (turns back to look at her as if pleading for her to understand) the only person that calls me that is my Father.
Candice: Well. now hes not the only one.
Bette looking as if shes about to melt closes her eyes as Candice comes in closer and kisses her, a soft yet passionate kiss.
Candice: (leans in and whispers in Bettes ear) could we please get out of here now.
Bette: (Holding Candice waist with one hand whispers) Yes.
End Scene.

Scene: Tina At the Childrens Soup Kitchen

Tina walks into the unfinished Soup kitchen, Candice is working in the corner w/ various other workers milling about.

Tina: (Spotting Candice. In shock an angry as ***** looks over at Oscar whos approaching to greet her) What the ***** is she doing here?

Oscar: (looking confused) What do you mean? Youre the one that hired her.

Tina: I dont want her here. (Looking over at Candice she yells) I want you out of here Now! Do you hear ME! Pack your ***** and get the ***** out!

Oscar: (looking really confused now, never before hearing this kind a language from Tina, much less the emotions (even in therapy group) not sure what to do says) What are you Doing? We need her.

Tina: (with fire still in her eyes) We dont need her, well get someone else.

Oscar: (grabbing Tina by the arm, stating firmly in low voice) Lets Talk (turns and points to Candice whos already half packed and out the door) Candice! Dont leave!

Candice wide eyed with mouth open stands frozen not sure who to listen too waits.

Oscar escorts Tina to a back office closed the door and looks at Tina .

Oscar: (trying to keep his voice calm) What was that all about? We need her!

Tina: (Still angry) We dont need her! Well get someone else.

Oscar: (still confused) What the ***** are you talking about, whats going on?

Tina: Its personal Oscar, and I dont want her here.

Oscar: (a little sarcastic) Oh well if its personal, then were screwed, because we have a contract. And even it you dont need her the Kids sure do.

Tina starts to calm down a just a little.

Oscar: (a little more sympathetic and in a lower voice) Listen Tina, if its not a professional problem that you have with her then theres not a whole lot we can do at this point. There is no way were gonna find another contractor to replace her for the price shes agreed to do this Job, And even if we did, we have a contract and wed still have to pay her. Now Im not sure whats going on personally- But if youd like Ill arrange a schedule so the two of you dont ever have to meet. (he smiles hopefully at her)

Tina: (still angry and not sure if she should agree) you arrange the schedule. I dont want to ever see her, you hear me?

Oscar: (smiles grabbing both of Tinas hands pulling her close to him and hugs her) ok Ill arrange the schedule.

Tina relaxes a little in his hug as she stares off still angry.

Oscar: (emerging from the office all smiles approaches Candice, whos still standing there not sure if to run or fight) listen Candice

Candice: (cuts him off) Dont worry Oscar Ill arrange for another contractor to finish the Job.

Oscar: No need for that, besides I already know that half your people have already agreed to half pay to do this job. Well just need to discuss your schedule (he smiles at her)

Candice ***** her head at him a little confused and then shakes her head ok.

Ok women that wraps up my Session Two AfterMath Bette and Candice options. I will now go on to filling in the blanks of Bette and Candice connection. Hope you all enjoyed.
