Bette sat on the edge of a large lounge chair, slouching forward with her elbows resting just above her knees. Her fingers were linked together and her mouth pressed against them as she watched her lover sleep soundly in the bed in front of her.

Tina laid on her stomach, her naked body was tangled in the sheets and a smooth creamy leg was uncovered. Her right shoulder was also exposed, a shoulder Bette had licked and kissed the night before. Tina’s head was facing Bette and a strand of blonde hair was covering her eyes.

Her lips were slightly swollen from all of Bette’s kisses, her cheeks even had a slight pink tint from all her orgasms. She looked so pure, calm and sated.

Bette got up from her seat to move the strand of hair from Tina’s face, gently tucking it behind her ear. She smiled as Tina stirred in her sleep, parting her lips and letting out a breathy moan.

Just then, Bette felt a surge of energy rush through her body. It was painful to her chest as Bette clutched it tight and moved away from Tina so that she wouldn’t wake the sleeping blonde.

She placed a hand on the arm rest of the lounge and took several deep breaths to calm the pain. Finally it subsided and Bette continued to breathe deep, the pain had left her without air.

That feeling, that surge of energy was all too familiar to her. It was a feeling that made Bette want to kick herself for being such a pushover these last few days. That feeling only meant one thing. Jodi was fully healed and might have even acquired a new power.

What was supposed to be one day, ended up being three. Nikki’s library was beyond massive and there were too many books to go through in just one day.

Bette had been on edge since staying the extra day, she didn’t like the idea of being in one place for long. There was no telling Nikki’s motives and Bette had never actually forgiven Jenny for her past crimes. Add Jodi to the equation and Bette didn’t want to take any chances in staying any longer.
