    All Hallows Eve

    Tina gulped and said, "T-Tina."

"One T or two?" Bette teased.

"Just one," Tina said with a wary smile.

"What exactly do you think witches do?" Bette asked.

"I don’t know cast curses and cook people in the cauldron and make them potion or something," Tina said.

"So stereotypical," Bette said with a low chuckle, "what’s in the cauldron is chicken noodle soup. I take it to the soup kitchen for the homeless people."

Tina’s eyebrows raised in surprise, "no fucking way!"

"Oh come on Tina, if I were evil would I have saved you and stopped you from getting devoured from the goblins, gremlins, and trolls?" Bette said in a low tone.

"So then why the dark house?" Tina asked.

"As to not attract the demons to my location," Bette said.

    "Demons!!??!" Tina basically screamed.

"They cannot possess me because of my power, though they can get you," Bette said.

"So then why would they come here?" Tina said totally unnerved.

"With my magic they can transform into any form and trap people in their claws," Bette said, "I hide because I don’t do that."

"Holy shit," Tina said breaking into an anxiety attack, "I don’t want the demons to get me!"

Bette chuckled and raised her hand, "I’ll put a protection charm on you." Tina relaxed when a soft blue light enveloped her.

"Okay, so maybe I misjudged you but why the chains? Why the wicked smile?" Tina asked.

"Because I’m sadistic," Bette said backing Tina into a wall, "but I take good care of my women. I’m looking for a permanent fix, that’s why I walk around the forest."

"A permanent fix?" Tina said nervously.

"Someone who is willing to stay," Bette whispered brushing her lips against Tina, "someone who’s willing to please me."

"And forever live in a forest with werewolves, goblins, gremlins, trolls, and demons?" Tina said gulping.

Bette chuckled, "no I only have to live here in October, especially tonight, All Hallows Eve. Every other month it is safe to live in my regular apartment in the city."

Tina was shocked, "you mean witches live among us?"

"And werewolves too," Bette said, "everything else except demons who have taken a human form disappear."

"Oh that’s comforting," Tina said sarcastically.
