Always Remember What Is Important (Part 2 of 3)

    Chapter 2

Tina cleared her throat to try and refocus on the task at hand before Henry walked through the door. She couldn’t stop the fire that ran through her blood as the last person on earth she wanted to work with would be Henry Young…and when did Henry become a director, last time they were together he was an…well to be honest Tina never really knew what Henry’s job was and really didn’t care, their relationship was more of a physical thing than emotional so she never ask.

Tina: Ok everyone now that Aaron has arrived with our new director, I’m going to let him take over from here.

Aaron: Thank you, Tina. Ladies and Gentlemen I want to introduce you to our new director for the next three pictures Henry Young.

Everyone in the meeting clapped as Henry stood up to go over his plans for the next three future films. The whole time Henry was speaking, Tina couldn’t help but think about how difficult this was going to be to work with him, not because she still has feeling for Henry but because she knew once she told Bette…hell is going to break lose! To add insult to injury, they were going to be working together for three films which mean a lot of close time together, after the hell Bette and Tina has been going through lately in their relationship, this was not going to make things any easier and just could be maybe the last straw. Tina snapped out of her thoughts once she saw the meeting being adjourned, she hadn’t heard anything Henry said…all of her thoughts were on Bette and her lack of attention didn’t go unnoticed by Henry who would make quick glances at her throughout his speech.

Henry: So that’s it and I look forward to working with each one of you…so if nothing else let’s get ready and make a brilliant film people.

Everyone clapped again then begin gathering their things and exiting the boardroom. Tina was finishing up her notes when Henry came over to approach her.

    Henry: Tina

Tina jumped and looked up as Henry stood next to her.

Tina: Henry, I’m sorry I thought you had left already.

Henry: I just want to say I hope there are no bad feelings between us.

    1. It is positive that Bette came home to talk with Tina. I really hope they work things out.

Hellry is still a pain in the ass! !! I understand they are both not happy about him working with Tina for three movies, but come on, they love each other and endured a lot and survived it.

They also need to talk to Angie, i am glad she has her aunties, especially Alice.

Looking forward to the final part.

    2. TN1…..Boom!….all hell’s gonna break loose now that Henry’s in town….as if our Tibette needs a reason to go all looney on us…..awesome beginning…zing zang zoom!..oh those cliffhangers makes me as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs!..your writing is outstanding!…thx….lubya

    3. Hey tibettenation1, thanks for writing another interesting story. First let me assure you that I do not want to offend you or your writing with my comment, I really appreciate all you writers too much for ever intending to do that. But I have to asked, what is wrong with Tina? Why is she letting Kelly treat her like that and waiting for Bette to come to her rescue? Even worse expecting Bette to quit her job just because she cannot stand up for herself? And what is this about Angelica being Bette’s child? If Tina is going to continue with her passive-aggressive attitude she is going to lose not only Bette but Angie too. Because how long is Bette going to just stand by and tolerate Tina’s behavior especially as now Angelica is thinking that Tina never wanted her and is too showing some passive-aggressiveness against Tina. Sorry so many questions swirling around my head and there are so many more. I suppose you are not following the show’s timeline as Angelica just started pre-school when Bette started working with Kelly, it would be 3 to 4 years for Bette to be working with Kelly and Tina harassing her about quitting her job. Would Tina just quit her job now because of her having to work together with Henry would Bette asked her to? Okay, I am going to stop now and just wait for your next post to see how you are going to get those two on the right track again. Thanks again for sharing your story with us.

      • actually of course I followed the time, I have the whole dvd box set at home, know each episode by heart, and everything about the L word. In my story of Fiction, obviously Angelica is a little older not that I included her age in this story but for her to go to Alice’s office alone then she must be somewhere around a teenager…but of course im not offended I’m happy you actually took the time out to read and trust me things will get better on next chapter that’s why its only three parts…next, Tina is not calling Angie Bette’s child, that’s just what Angie think she means by the conversation she heard between them about the donor, all the questions will br answered trust me

        • Thank you both for your comment and response. TB1, i love how you take the some part from the show and create a story around it. Great job as always. As1219, thanks for the questions. I hope it give not just TB1 something to think about as she constructs the third part of this story but also the readers. Good writing depends of critical readers. Keep up the good work both of you.

    4. I actually get why Tina is peeved about Kelly. What is wife that woman? Not Bette’s fault though. But dun brush aside your wife’s feelings. At least Tina addressed Henry issue fast enough. Henry should just go f”‘,k himself for being so rude when referring to Angie and Bette.

    5. I know of your competence as a writer
and the versatility of their stories,
after all we are in the world of fic, and you, writers
not have to follow what happened in the series because you can
reinvent a season or continue where you left off, is
why I’m here, to read the creativity
      you writers.
      I love it !
      10 Stars.
