    Chapter 9 – Quit Playing Games With My Heart

     

    I don’t blame her if she hates me. But does she really need to make me feel less important in front of our friends? I feel like I don’t even exist whenever that she is near me. All that I want to do is to be near her and make her love me again. How could I make her love me again? – the sulking blonde sighed heavily as she drinks her vodka.

     

    She had been sitting in one lonely corner of the new bar in WeHo for almost two hours already. Many had tried to hit on her to offer her some company. Men tried to persuade her for a dance while some women offered her some drinks but she is not in a mood to be with any anybody else but Bette so she turned them down.

     

    The blonde downed another shot of vodka and shook her head as she felt the liquor travel down her system. Her head is spinning and she could not see straight anymore so she decided to get up and head out of the bar.

     

    When she arrived at the parking lot, she started to look for her car keys inside her purse but because of her drunkenness she dropped her purse and the rest of the items inside of it clattered in the parking lot. “Dammit!” She struggled in picking up her belongings but she even struggled more in opening her car.

     

    When the blonde is finally inside her car she closed her eyes and leaned her head on the headrest. Her tears started to fall again on her face and she just let it fall while trying to process her new discovery.

     

    How come that I am the last one to know about my real feelings for Bette? I am the clueless one while everybody who surrounds me had already noticed that I have some special feelings for my bestfriend. Am I that insensitive fool? She could hardly believe when it was already her Dad who confirmed that they know that she is in love with her bestfriend.

     

    She wiped her tears and massaged her brow as she felt the throbbing pain. But the blonde started to sob again when she remembered her conversation with her parents two days ago.

    2. Glad Tina is taking action and telling Bette how she feels. Now Tina has to stay true to her word and not hurt Bette again. I don’t blame Bette for not having much trust yet. Hopefully Tina will earn that trust back.

      Bette seems happy with Lara, i can understand if she doesn’t trust Tina and it will take a lot of wooing and for now, i don’t believe she will give up the “relationship” she has with Lara.

    7. Glad to know Tina is finally serious about Bette by confessing to her parents, but sad that it took liquid courage for her to go to Bette and also that she did it at such an inopportune time as to make it awkward for Bette with Lara sleeping in the bedroom.

      Once again Tina is only thinking of herself. Just because Bette has a forgiving nature doesn’t mean that Tina has earned her forgiveness. I hope Bette sends her home in a cab as she shouldn’t be driving drunk, but I don’t think Bette should leave Lara to drive Tina home or allow her to spend the night on the couch. She needs to respect Bette’s relationship with Lara even if its just casual.

      Tina’s whole speech is still about what she needs and wants from Bette. Until she can put Bette first and be sensitive to Bette’s needs instead of her own she doesn’t deserve a chance. Her drunken confession doesn’t hold much water and if that is putting her best foot forward she is not treating Bette any better than Mika did. She’s just being possessive with no consideration for Bette’s happiness.

    8. I am glad that Tina finally confessed to her parents that she was in love with Bette .
      The fact that Tina went to Bette’s house drunk, was not so lucky. but I’m really glad that she told her true feelings for Bette and assured that she will fight for her and Tina want to Bette would forgive her and she will woo to Bette.
      I know that Bette is now in a difficult situation because she is afraid to trust again with Tina, but I think that she knows is still in love with Tina. at least they need to sit and talk about everything that happened four years ago
      Therefore, I do not think that Bette fair with Lara. I think Lara feels more towards Bette, and not only made ​​friends with extras …
      I never liked this kind of relationship, because after a while, one always feels more and will only hurt in the end. I do not doubt that Bette care of with Lara and she loves her, but it’s just not good.

    10. I disagree with everyone Lara and Bette shouldn’t be together period! How awkward is this anyway, I thought they was just best friends now like her and Tina was before that’s why they were kissing but they are actually getting it on. But Tina should have to work for Bette she did a pretty shitty thing

    13. Wow! I am glad Tina finally talked with Bette but sorry she is drunk. As for Bette and Lara I do not think its to serious yet.
      Tina has a lot to make up for and some talking to do before I think Bette will trust her. Great update.

    16. Wow that was interesting. Glad that Tina was able to talk to her parents but it seems that she has been in love with Bette for years but was afraid to admit it. It sucks that her love confession was with alcohol. Awkward reading that knowing that Bette just got out bed from having been intimate with Lara, just not right.
