    An epistolary affair

    June 8th, 2011.

    Mon amour,

I can’t help but wonder where you are, as you are reading this letter.

    Two years…

Are you alone now? … Or are there people around you, T?

Are you smiling? … Are those eyes of yours sparkling like they always do when you are happy?

    Two years, T…

And all I can think about at this minute is how much I miss you… And how much I wish I could take you in my arms… How much I wish I could kiss your beautiful lips, and nestle my face in your neck as I tighten my grip around your warm body in a silent vow to never let you go…

    But I can’t…

    God, two years…

I know we agreed that it would be much better this way…

    But T, is it really?

Because as I am sitting here in my gallery, looking out the window at the beautiful Place that we both love, I’m craving you so much that all I want is to get out of here and try and find you…

… But where have you gone, T?

Have you gone to the Sybille Temple where our eyes met for the first time?

Have you gone to our precious garden, the beautiful and magic guardian of our first profession of love?

Or perhaps have you gone to the Rodin Museum’s Garden…?

    Two years, my love…

And as I am sitting here, looking at that beautiful picture of you on my desk and holding your own missive in my hands, I can’t help but wonder where you are now, as you are reading those words I gave to you…

    … this morning…

    … For our second anniversary.

I smile as I recall that other morning on our very first anniversary, and the overwhelming wave of happiness that submerged me when I discovered the precious blue paper cover that had been subtly slipped in my briefcase…

… A wave of happiness, soon tinted with amusement and awe at the thought that you were to find a similar present on the edge of your easel as soon as you woke up.

    1. Truly amazing. This is one of the sweetest most romantic B&T stories that I’ve ever read. I was totally captured from beginning to end and so glad you both came back with an epilogue. Looking forward to your solo acts but hope you will think about teaming up again sometime.

    2. This has been without a doubt one of the most interesting, well written, romantic, beautiful stories I’ve read in a long, long time. Thank you both so much. I’ve really enjoyed reading it and feeling like I was right there. Hope you two can team up again sometime. I’ll be looking forward to anything either of you write on your own as well. Great job!!! :)

    3. You both did a phenomenal job with this piece. I thoroughly enjoyed it and admire both of you as gifted storytellers. I look forward to more work that you two may be willing to share with us in the future. Bravo!

    4. I read this last chapter two days ago, but once again and surpisingy enough I couldn’t post my comments then, but luckily it seems now that I’ve read chappie for the third time ( yes !! ) I can. But I believe this is exactly how it is suppoed to be. I guess one only deserves to post their comments on this marvellous story once they’ve read it three times or more otherwise they just haven’t delighted themselves ( is this a word ? ) with the sound and meaning of every single word. Ladies, did I mention I had loved this story ? I hope you’ll find a way to “work” together again for I’m already missing your Bette and Tina.

    5. And and by the way, I’m really sorry about the multiple typos in my previous post. This is an insult to your poetry, but I guess I was so overwhelmed by your prose, that it didn’t even occur to me to “proofread” my post before hitting “submit”. I’m very sorry about that.

    6. Ladies… Standing Ovation!! To both of you Kins and Kw!! :-) … You give me story, where each chapter made me want to read more, where each moment told and described fluttered my heart with hope and dream of that great love and romance… When I thought the previous chapter almost killing me with the hanging ending, boy how wrong I was!! But this epilogue is!! It left me speechless and dreamy! for love with such sweetness and romantic and it’s written in so deeper details/description… and it’s such an open ending too…!! If someday you have time and willing to write more as continuation based on this story, I would be in the front line to read that!! :-) but for now.. Let it be… ;-) will look forward to your next creation and may I thank you again for your willingness to share your marvelous talent! :-) … Well I wish to write more compliment for you ladies just to show my appreciation.. But hey!! I am still busy doing this standing ovation for you :-p hehe… Brava!!!

    7. Sweet, sweet both of you..If this is a kind of torture …then by all means..do it all the time… OMG they are having Babies?!!. Twins?… Thanks for the epi..Guys!

    8. Absolutely beautiful and brought back memory’s for me.

“Our goodbye that morning tore me apart, and all I remember from the moments following your departure are the agonizing minutes it took me to reach the parking lot, before I broke down in the confined shelter of my car. ”

This was me 9 years ago..she came for a week but she had to go.bur not for long ..she came to live with me and we made our life together much like these two except the baby part lol…so thank you for the sweet memory’s…
