7:00 am Tuesday

Alexis: Hey Taylor, sorry I couldnt hook up with you guys last night….yea….no…you know that little caf not far from my house?…yes….well I meeting Shane at 8:00 so why dont you meet me there at 7:30 and Ill introduce you….yea….ok see you in a bit.

Alexis finished getting ready and made sure she had everything she needed before she left the house.
Ok, I have my camera, by bag, cell phone, portfolio, Im good to go she said out loud.

As she drove to the Planet she couldnt seem to make her mind focus on anything other than the woman she had met the day earlier. She couldnt wait to tell Taylor about her.

Meanwhile, Alice, Tina and Bette were once again at their usual table.

Tina: I wonder where Dana is? She said she wanted to get here early so she could see Alexis again.

Alice: I dont know, but after the way she acted yesterday shes probably making herself note cards so she can actually talk to her

Bette and Tina both laughed

Alice: Since its just the three of us, I want to know if I can ask you some questions.

Tina and Bette both gave her a puzzled look

Alice: Dont worry its noting bad. Yesterday after we went shopping I stopped by my office to get something. While I was there my boss came in and told me what she wanted for my next article and I need a little help.

Tina: Sure, whats it about

Alice: Its about being in love. I think its a stupid idea but my boss has been seeing this guy, she says shes in love, so she wants a article about it.

Tina: I think thats nice, but why do you need our help?

Before Alice answered she took out her mini tape recorder and put it on table.

Alice: I want you to tell me a little about how each of you felt when you met, the feelings you had and stuff like that.

While they had been talking, none of them realized that Alexis and her friend Taylor had walked in, and were sitting very close to them. Alexis didnt notice Bette, Tina or Alice either, she was just so anxious to tell Taylor about Dana.

Alice was listening as Bette and Tina told a little about what it felt like when they first fell in love and how it felt now, when she heard a familiar voice right behind her. She recognized that it was Alexis, she was going to turn around and say hi, but heard what she was talking about so she put her finger up to her lips to tell Tina and Bette to shhh. She wanted to hear more.

Alexis: ….so when she said her name I knew for sure. Its been over ten years and it seemed like we hadnt missed a beat.

Taylor: Wow, thats so awesome, but tell me about this woman

Alexis: I know, so anyway she introduced me to her friends and there all really nice. Theres Alice, shes a writer, great personality, very good looking, great *****.
Then theres Tina, shes beautiful and just really sweet and polite. Then theres Bette, Tinas wife, shes gorgeous, I mean just gorgeous.

While Alexis talked on, Alice Tina and Bette listened quietly. They all smiled at each other when they heard Alexis describe each of them. Tina leaned into the table and whispered, I knew I liked her. Alice and Bette smiled while they listed on.

Taylor: Ok, I get that you like her friends, but tell me about the woman you met!

Alexis: Hold your horses, Im getting there, so were all talking and Im telling them about buying my house when I see this woman walk in. I couldnt take my eyes off of her. She was just so completely breathtaking. While I was watching her, I forgot what I was talking about, god I felt like such a dork.It turned out that she was one of Shanes friends too. When she walked up to the table, I mean, I dont know if I can explain it, But you know when your like on a roller coaster, and your almost at the top and you get that felling of being nervous and anxious and excited all at the same time, and your body gets the tingles, thats what if felt like. I mean she just made me melt, honest to god, when we made eye contact, I swear I could feel my heart beating faster and slower at the same time. It was wild!

Taylor: Woah, Alexis, Ive never heard you talk about anyone like this before. Ive got to see this girl, she must really be something.

Alexis: I know its crazy, But Ive never felt this way about someone before. The thing is I really dont know anything about her. I dont if shes single or dating someone, god I dont even know if shes *****.

Back at the girls table, they couldnt believe what they had just heard.

Bette: Can you imagine what Danas gonna say when we tell her this?

Tina: Shes gonna freak out, Alice you should use some of that, it would be great material for your article. That was probably the most honest way I ever heard someone explain those feeling before.

Alice was shaking her head in agreement when she realized that her tape recorder was still on. A devilish grin came to her face when she picked it up and turned it off.

Alice: You know, Dana probably wont believe us when we tell her, so maybe we should just let her listen to it her self. Oh look here she comes.

Just as Alice had said that, Alexis had also noticed that Dana had just walked in.

Alexis: Oh my god Taylor, look thats her, thats Dana!

Taylor turned to see the woman who clearly had her friend totally smitten with just one meeting.

Taylor: Wow! Alexis your right, she is beautiful, very nice.

As Dana made her way to the gangs table she saw Alexis sitting close by. Just great, shes here with someone, well maybe its just a friend. she thought to her self as she looked down. Suck it up Dana, just walk over and say hello. When she looked back up, Alexis was looking right back at her with a huge smile. Well at least she remembers me, here goes nothing.

Dana: Hi Alexis

Alexis: Hi Dana, how are you?

Dana: Good, and you?

Alexis: Good, oh by the way, this is my friend Taylor, Taylor this is Shanes friend Dana.

Taylor: Hi

Dana: Hi

Alexis: Dana would you like to sit with us, Im waiting for Shane.

Dana: Thanks, but my friend are right here and I wouldnt want to impose.

Alexis was more that a little disappointed when Dana passed on her invitation, but thought well at least shes still be in the same room, even if she wasnt at her table. She did want to know however who would be so lucky enough to be in Danas company that she turned around to where Dana had gestured that her friends were. When she focused on who it was, her jaw dropped, there they were, sitting no more than five feet away, each giving her the best smiles, it was Tina Bette and Alice.
