Tuesday Afternoon….Alexis House….

Hey Shane come on in. Alexis said with a huge smile when she opened the front door.

As Shane walked in she was in disbelief of the house, this place is huge Lex, wow

As they walked from room to room Shane was taking in all of her surroundings and thinking, this would be a great place for a party. When they made there way back to the living room, Shane noticed the camera sitting on the table and remembered what she had wanted to ask.

So Lex, how did the photo shoot go

With that question, Alexis spun around on her heels to look at Shane with a million watt smile.

Oh my god, it was amazing, I had no idea I was going to see Dana, I have to tell you what happened

FLASHBACK

This looks like a nice place dont you think Dana?

Yeah, its beautiful, so what do you want me to do?

Dana slowly relaxed and fell into the groove of things. With Alexis directions she started to enjoy the shoot.
Alexis preceded to take picture after picture of Dana, even if she wasnt looking in her direction, she couldnt help it. After about two hours all of the shots were done.

Dana, you did great. I think we have some really great photos here. As she walked over to Dana she thought, I know why your agent told you to wear those shorts, they make you look so hot, not that you would need the shorts to do that

Great, I never thought Id have so much fun doing this

As Alexis was packing her camera up she looked over at Dana with a ***** smile, Youre a natural, I knew you wouldnt have an trouble.

Dana could feel the heat rising in her cheeks as Alexis smiled at her, Thanks

While she continued to watch Alexis she thought that this was the perfect time to find out if she was interested in her and asked with a soft voice, I was wondering, my friends and I are getting together tonight and going out to sort of celebrate, would you like to come?

Seeing that she was having a hard time to get her question out, Alexis closed the distance between them and looked her directly in the eyes. Hoping it would help when she gave her answer.

Im really sorry, I would love to but I cant. Its my friends birthday and I promised I would go out with them tonight, but maybe…

She didnt have time to finish her sentence because Dana had cut her off. Trying not to show her disappointment just looked at the ground and said, Thats ok, no problem, look I have to get going but Ill see you around.

As she turned around to head back to the locker room Alexis was left standing there almost in shock. It took her a few seconds to realize what had happened before she started after Dana.

Dana wait

As she caught up to her she took Danas hand in her own to make sure she was paying attention. Dana, what I was trying to say was that since I cant join you tonight, maybe you would like to have dinner with me?

Dana was trying to comprehend what Alexis was saying but all she could focus on was how warm her hand felt as Alexis held it. After a few seconds she realized that Alexis had just asked her out. I would love to, when?

Alexis reached into her pocket and pulled out a business card and handed it to Dana, never letting go of her hand.

Both my work and cell numbers are on it so you can decide when is best for you and just let me know, ok

That sounds great Dana couldnt help but feel like she was on top of the world.

With Danas answer they just stood smiling at each other not sure what to do. Feeling a little awkward Alexis was the first to speak, Good, well I guess I let you go get changed, but I just want to let you know, that if you were still wondering, I am interested.

With that said Alexis lifted her hand to tuck a small piece of hair behind Danas ear and slowly moved her lips to meet hers. She stopped just shy of them as if to ask if it was ok ,then very softly pressed them fully to Danas. She wanted to make sure she remembered this kiss so she did her pantented lip move. She slowly rolled her bottom lip up to capture Danas top lip just before she pulled away.

When she opened her eyes she found that Dana still had hers closed. When she did open them she had a huge smile across her face as well as a flushed look. Wow, I mean Ill call you, she said almost like she was out of breath.

Thats the reaction I was looking for Alexis thought to herself with a grin. I hope you do call, Id really like to get to know you

With that said they each gave each other one last look before Dana headed off to the locker room.

Back At Alexis

Shane: So you kissed her, you do really like her dont you

Alexis: Yeah I do, it doesnt bother you does it?

Shane: Why would it?

Alexis: Just because we sort of just got back together and I wouldnt want you to think that when we hang out it would be just to see her

Shane: Dude Id never think that, actually Im really happy for you two. Dana deserves someone like you, and if she makes your heart beat fast and slow at the same time, than good for you.

When Shane said that Alexis face went white, Oh my god, did Alice tell you I said that, holy *****, did she tell Dana, oh ***** oh *****

Shane started laughing at the obvious embarrassment and the similarity of Alexis blabbering and Danas, Lex chill out, yeah Alice told me, but she didnt tell Dana, ok. Just relax its fine.

Still a little overwhelmed, Alexis sat back down, your right, its fine. Ive just never said anything like that, and when I did I had no idea your friends were right behind me.

Shane: Its cool, they like you so they wouldnt embarrass you.

Alexis: That makes me feel better, you know I like them two.

Shane: Im glad, it seems we all may be spending a lot of time together

Alexis: I hope so

Shane: Im gonna get going so you can get ready to go out, are we on for tomorrow?

Alexis: No doubt

Shane: Ok, Ill see you later

Alexis: Bye

As Shane left Alexis mind wandered back to the kiss from earlier. She had wanted to make sure Dana didnt forget it, but it seems that she was the one who couldnt forget.

I wonder when Ill get to see her again I hope its soon she thought to herself as she went to pick out an outfit for the party.

She would be very surprised to know that she would be seeing Dana sooner than she thought. TBC
