The moment Bette saw Candance she felt sick. She could not believe it but she felt the attraction again. Candance was looking at her, waiting for Bette to make the first move but was surprised when, instead of what she has been waiting for, Bette run out of her office without even talking with her.

Tina was finishing some paperwork at the Center when her cell beeped. She checked the id caller not wanting to answer in case it was Bette.
    Hello
Hi, how are you doing? U still at work?. Alice was trying to sound casual, not sure anymore how to talk with Tina.
    yeah, almost done.
Great, Dana and I are going to get something for dinner and then maybe going to Milk for a drink, why dont you come with us?
Tina smiled, she could tell Alice was trying hard to cheer her up and she knew, thou wasnt sure what was it, that something was going on with Dana and Alice.
I think am gonna pass Al, besides, I have to pack

pack, you know, putting things, clothes mostly, in a bag
Alice was surprised not only by the news but just by hearing Tina joking.
Dana was looking at Alice trying to get an idea of what was going on but then she noticed somebody coming to their table and the moment she realized who it was her jaw dropped.
Alice was so lost in her conversation with Tina that she didnt notice Bette at her side, taking a chair and sitting down.

Dana was speechless. She didnt know what to say to Bette not just because of what she had done, which still was unbelievable to her but because the Bette that was in front of her didnt look like the Bette she knew. Bette was looking not only thinner but pale and lost. The look on her eyes scared Dana so much that she almost cried.

Tina woke up early. She didnt want to face Alice, didnt want to explain to her why she was leaving, didnt feel like talking to her. She knew that thanks to Alice she was able to be there, working and moving on, but she also knew that because of her, Alice was not talking with Bette that much and she knew that Alice also loved Bette.
She left a note to her, not saying much, just that she was leaving for a few days, that she was ok, not thinking about doing anything stupid, just looking for some solace, peace and quiet. She also told her that shell call to let her know how she was doing. She knew Alice and knew shed be worried.
