Bette: T, everything is loaded are you ready?

Angelica: Yes, Mommy I’m ready. I’m so excited. You are going to like the Zoo, I’ll show you, ‘cause Mommy and I went there before, but you couldn’t come that time, but you can come now.

Tina: Babe, thanks for getting the SUV loaded for our first family vacation. I’m excited too.

Bette: Boo, what movie do you want to watch first?

Angelica: Shrek.

Bette: OK then, Shrek it is.

Shane: Hey guys, you off for your trip?

Angelica: Yup, we’re going to the Zoo. Momma didn’t go before, but I’ll show her the whole place. Mommy already took me when I was little.

Shane: Well you are certainly getting big now. Hey want me to take a family “before” photo?

Bette: That would be great, thanks Shane. Let me grab the camera.

Angelica stands in front of her moms who have there arms around each other’s waists. Shane takes a couple of shots to make sure she’s got them all eyes open. No need to say cheese as this family is the picture of happiness; they are all smiles for the camera.

Tina: Come on baby let me get you strapped into your seat while Momma fixes the movie for you, OK.

Angelica: Yes Mommy.

Tina: Alright all done. Now you have your juice box right here and your snack cup with some grapes, OK.

Angelica: Thank you mommy.

Tina: Kisses her daughter on the cheek and rubs noses. You are welcome my Angel.  Angelica laughs.

Shane: Well, I’ll keep watch over the house, water the plants and keep Alice away. In return I’ll take liberties with the pool and any beer in the fridge, right?

Tina: That about sums it up Shane, thanks!

Bette: Especially that part about keeping Alice away, please.  Kit will be by too, so if she gets out of hand, just call in the reinforcement. Alice won’t go toe to toe with Kit.

Shane: Not many among us would.  Chuckles.  See you guys in a week!

Bette: Alright, on that note, everybody ready to go?

Tina and Angelica: Yes.

Bette: Alright here we go on our first family vacation.

Tina reaches over and touches Bette’s hand. Bette turns to look at Tina who is leaning in for a kiss. Bette smiles and obliges. Tina moves her hand to the back of Bette’s curls during the brief kiss.
