The deal with Mrs. Fitzpatrick has gone through and all that was left to do was for Stevie to sign the contract. Stevie wanted to keep the whole deal under wraps until she knew for sure that everything was final. Helena came into the Planet once again and pulled Stevie to the side to tell her the good news. These little secret meetings had been going on for a few days now and Bette was growing tired of it. How dare Stevie lie to her, pretend to be sorry just to move onto another member of the group. Bette was actually thinking of forgiving Stevie and moving on to at least regain some type of friendship but this behavior made her feel like not even trying.
Stevie returned to give everyone the good news. Bette opted to not even hear it. She was half way to the door when Stevie stopped her.
Stevie: “Bette, wait I have some good news I want everyone to hear.”
Bette: “I’m not in the mood.”
She turned and exited. Stevie chased after her.
Stevie: “Bette. What’s your problem?”
Bette: “My problem?”
Stevie: “Yes. You’ve been treating me worse then usual lately. I know I hurt you but I thought by now we could have tried to get passed it.”
Bette: “You know what Stevie I was past it until you and Helena started hooking up.”
Stevie: “There you go talking about stuff you have no clue about again.”
Bette: “Whatever.”
Stevie: “I get it, your jealous.”
Bette froze in her tracks.
Bette: “I am not jealous, especially not of Helena.”
Stevie: “Even if it’s in regards to me?”
Bette: “Who the hell do you think you are Stevie?”
Stevie: “I think I’m the person who’s been bending over backwards to get you back in their good graces. I’ve had the pride swallowing job of having Bette Porter want to be my friend again. Do you know how that feels?”
Bette: “Does it feel anything like being lied to? Because then I can empathize.”
Stevie: “I’ve tried to say I’m sorry time and again Bette. You just refuse to hear it. Now you want to get jealous cuz I might being seeing Helena. So what if I am? I don’t see what business of yours it is anyway. You said goodbye remember? Not me.”

Bette knows what she has to do and she is going to do it. I knew she was just angry, but she loves Stevie and she knows Stevie loves her. I can’t wait for their getting back together!!! Feel better soon vibes..

Ahh this was really nice…I like the way Stevie has tried to make up with Bette….maybe Bette needs to cut Stevie some slack!….and talk to her!…things left unsaid tend to snowball into even bigger issues!…Nice one!…hope your better soon…
Yes Bette know what to do. Bring Tina the picture and get back the love of her life. Stevie seems a bit immature. IMO.Love the story though..

Vibes-so sorry you’re still feeling under the weather sweetie. At least it hasn’t effected your writing b/c this another great chapter. So glad Shane/yoda was there for Stevie w/ the great advice. I so hope Bette will allow herself to forgive Stevie and let let her back into her heart. Oh and i just love the reference to Stevie wrapping the gifts herself–just too cute. Hope you post soon, try some hot soup maybe that will help you get better.
I don’t know why anyone wants Bette and Tina to get back together after everything Tina has done to Bette…Love is respect and caring and cherishing and that is how Bette feels with Stevie, and Stevie with her…And she never felt like that with Tina!

I jope you feel better (*(*(*Vibes)*)*)*). Thanks for another great chapter. I am glad that Stevie listened to Yoda. That was really sweet of her to give Bette those gifts. Perhaps, they love each other and they just have to figure that out. I think Bette would be great for Stevie. Stevie needs emotional and psychological healing. I think Bette can help her a lot. Even if they don’t end up together, maybe they could be really good friends. Of course, I would like for them to be together. Bette has a lot of love to share with Stevie and Xavier. A little love goes a long way. Now, that being said, I hope Stevie doesn’t hurt Bette again, especially after she’s going through so much to make it up to her and get her forgiveness.
Now this is what I call dedication to your readers—being sick and still giving us a wonderful chapter. Glad to see that Shane has come around in regards to Bette and Stevie. just caught up and I am enjoying this story. I read very few stories that aren’t B & T but I do like Stevie. She is pretty immature but I think she is trying. Maybe she sees that T is the love of Bette’s life..hmmmmm. thanks and post soon.
