As Stevie examined herself in the mirror she reasoned she just didn’t look hot enough. Why she felt she needed to look so good was still eluding her. Never once did she think so long and hard about how she looked. She wore her usual and the women flocked to her like a pigeon to a bagel. Tonight, however, was different. She wanted to be sure she looked irresistible. She wanted to impress. No one in particular…well maybe just one person. She decided on a pair of torn super low rise jeans with holes in all the right places and fitted off the shoulder sweater that stopped just below her belly button, with some spike heel stilettos.
Stevie and Shane arrived at the Planet around 11. Bette, Jenny, Tina and Alice were already there. They joined them at the table.
Alice: “Lookin’ good there Stevie! I see your taking this weekend off to your advantage.”
Stevie smiled.
Stevie: “Best believe it.”
Stevie sat down next to Bette.
Stevie: “Hey.”
Bette: “Hi. You do look really good tonight pal.”
Stevie: “Thanks buddy, so do you.”
They shared a laugh.
Shane: “Pack of lovelies 6 o’clock Steve.”
She turned to see what she was talking about.
Stevie: “Uhhh, nice.”
Shane: “Come on.”
Stevie looked at Bette.
Stevie: “Umm…”
Bette: “Go. I’ll be here.”
Stevie looked reluctant but she eventually got up and she and Shane sauntered over to the ladies. Bette watched from afar as she felt a twinge of jealously creep up. She tried to tell herself she was being silly, she and Stevie were friends. But it wasn’t working. Those feelings were kept at bay some by the way Stevie would look over at the table from time to time and lock eyes with Bette letting her know she may have been with someone else at the moment but her mind was definitely elsewhere.
The night went on pretty uneventful. When Shane wasn’t dragging Stevie around from woman to woman Stevie was with Bette.
Stevie: “You want a drink?”
Bette: “Sure.”
Stevie: “What’ll it be?”
Bette: “Um, I want something different. You decided.”

Woo hoo, i love this so much and it is great that stevie has finally gotten where we all knew she was headed. please post as soon as you can i can’t wait to read more. Oh and i dont know what idiot thought this was only three stars worth of story but whoever it was is obviously mentally impared as always five stars from me.

Bette got it right. Stevie is loyal unlike Tina. yeah, Bette started it but Tina took her back and they shared a home together. Tina’s going to be more than a little jealous. Keep posting.

Well ive been catching up with this story…and what a way to go!…lol…i may have to read 3 chapters at a time in future!!!…so while this isnt a B&T story…it was nice to see Tina feeling a pang of something!! seeing Bette & Stevie together….and ofcourse Bette rubbing it in about Stevie being loyle!…nice one!…..ive enjoyed the last few chapters..and this was the iceing on the cake!..Thanks!

God I love this story,and I love that Bette and Stevie are back together, and that they are admitting they love each other, espcially Stevie. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!!! Now in regard to Bette’s comment to Tina that Stevie is loyal…HA put THAT in your pipe and smoke it, Tina…I am extremely surprised that Tina didn’t even think, let alone say, “but you cheated with Candace”… It seems to be the thing Tina has wrapped her life around. I am so loving this story, and the “you are gonna write the next chapter like now, right” was me!!!!!
