“You didn’t say yes did you?”
“Well yeah, we always have fun with them, so I told then we love to go.”
Not happy that her weekend was planned out for her, Lyndsay became very quiet.
Rob knew there was something else going on, but wasn’t sure what it was.
“OK, so does that mean that you don’t want to go?”
“No I don’t want to go. I have too many things to get done before I go to New York.”
Not believing that was the reason he pushed her a little harder to tell him what was wrong. When Lyndsay wouldn’t give him any more information he asked “Are you seeing someone else?”
Lyndsay was surprised by the question. Not knowing how to answer it, she sat in silence.
“I guess that says it all doesn’t it?”
“Rob, I’m not seeing anyone else. But I also don’t know that I see a future for us.”
Now getting angry, Rob continued his interrogation, “what’s his name? Do I know him?”
“Will you calm down. I am not seeing anyone else, and even if I were, I don’t understand why you are getting all upset over it.”
Rob just stared at her. He had always known that he was giving more to this relationship than Lyndsay was, but he had always just accepted it. “Look Lynds, you know how I feel about you. I’m in love with you, and lately I just feel like you aren’t in this relationship 100%.”
Not sure how to respond she just sat and looked at him.
He continued “I want more Lynds. When I think of you I see my future. I thought you felt it too. Now I’m starting to think this is a one sided relationship”
“I do feel something for you. I do love you, but I’m not in love with you. There is a big difference between loving someone and being in love with them. Yes we have a good time together, and I do enjoy your company, but it’s not enough for me. I want more.”
Looking shell shocked, Rob couldn’t believe what he was hearing. How had he missed the signs? He thought they were solid, that they were working towards a future together. Now, it appeared as if that was not the case.

OMG…I guess it’s the picture Angie wanted to buy in rome…finally…lindsay is in NY and wants to meet Angie…please post soon…can’t wait!!!!
Your absolutley killing me. OMG, she was that close and they missed each other. I’m so glad I took one more look for an update before I left the office for the day. It has to be the picture Angelica saw her painting in Rome. Please can I have an update for the morning. Pretty please with sugar on top.

OMG is right, Hopefully Angie is more like her Mama Bette than we know and has clothes in the office and a car and driver waiting to whisk her to the Four Seasons by 7:00pm. You’re just killing us, Gosh, PPS!!!!!

Yep, that’s Lyndsay and that’s the painting Angie wants for Bette’s birthday! That was the perfect way for Lyndsay to contact Angelica after what happened. Can’t wait until your next post TAZ.
Oh, My! I hope Angelica is able to get to The Four Seasons in a hurry! Less than an hour before Lynds is expecting her for dinner. So glad their next discussion will be in person! Can’t wait for their next encounter!
