Angelica & The Artist – Chapter 41 “Finale”
Chapter 41
As the blindfold was removed and Lyndsay got her bearings she was amazed at what she saw before her eyes. She turned on the spot to see an amazing sight before her. Tears welled in her eyes as she took in the incredible setup before her. She brought her hands to her face and stared in wonder at walls before her.
She couldn’t believe that these works of art were hers. The lighting, the way they were placed…..it was almost as if they told a story….one chapter at a time. As she started to walk around the room, her mind drifted back to when she had painted each and every one of them. They each represented something that had either happened to her, or was indicative of the way she felt at the time.
Angie watched her carefully for a few minutes. Neither spoke.
Lyndsay had stopped in front of one piece and stood staring at it. She slowly reached out and gently touched the canvas as her mind drifted back to the day she had painted it. It was one the few she had been able to do in a single day. For whatever reason it just flowed form her fingertips and once she had started, she could not stop. The scene before her was at a lake and it displayed an incredible sunset across the water. The colours radiated off the canvas and gave off a warmth and a glow. It was perhaps one of the best she had ever done.
Walking behind her girlfriend, Angie wrapped her arms around her waist and pulled her close. Lyndsay just allowed her body to melt back into Angie’s. The tears had now started to fall down her cheeks as she realized that she was indeed responsible for all of the artwork displayed before her.
Angie could feel the quiet sobs starting as she held Lyndsay tight. As she turned her around to brush away the tears from her cheeks, Lyndsay broke down in her arms. Holding her tight, Angelica kissed her cheeks softly and whispered how much she loved her and that she would never let her go. “It’s OK Lynds…I got you.”
After being re-assured once more by her lover that everything would be OK, Lyndsay finally was able to allow the tears to stop.

Well, you know I loved this story and your writing, but i have to say I think it begs a sequel. I think that you should let that imagination run amok and see where it takes Angie and Lyndsay. You have a remarkable talent Taz and whether you write a sequel to this or not, I will be there for your next story!
BRAVO !!! ***APPLAUSE*** Tazzie, I couldn’t agree more with Toby4ever! This certainly requires a sequel. I love when a writer can have me fall in love with a character which they create entirely. I have done so with Lyndsay. The coupling with Angelica is brilliant, and there are not too many people who could garner such a strong following when the “main” characters aren’t B&T, Belena, or Danish. You managed to capture the beauty of a story, and really had me on the edge of my seat throughout. How appropriate that this story should end just as the year itself comes to a close. Thanks for your kind words in your AN’s, but especially the intimate email’s which share our lives. You have become a lifetime friend, and I’ll forever be grateful that our paths crossed. I am also quite thankful that you took that chance to sit down and hit POST on that very first chapter. I know that writing has become a part of you now, and what you have received in return from gracious readers who take the time to comment can never be taken away. Looking forward to your next creation. Please don’t take too long. xo
I loved this story…I agree with toby, a sequel would be very nice. I was hoping that Angie would propose to Lindsay…that’s where the sequel could start.
Brilliant! I have to agree with Chicki that this story requires a sequel. I have been captivated by the story, as you know, since you started it. I too have been blessed to have formed what I hope is a lifelong friendship between us. I am looking already looking forward to whatever you write next. To echo Chicki, BRAVO! APPLAUSE. TAKE A BOW. Your friend, K x
This has been a fantastic story. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I to think there should be a sequel.
You can take a bpw on this your first.and a lot of encores. Would love to see a sequel to this. hank you for this wonderful story. HAPPY NEW YEAR. a WONDERFUL 2009
I have loved this story from the begining, and that’s exactly what it is the begining. I agree with the rest, a sequel is needed. How about Ang and Lyndsay get married, start a family, etc, etc. You are awesome by the way.
Hey, Tazzie! This END was just perfect! Our hats are off to you and we have LOUD CLAPS for you, for bringing us such an excellent story. Just holy wow, dearest Tazzie! We agree with the majority here, who requests a SEQUEL. Oh, yeah. Whenever you feel that you are ready to give us the ride to the development of Angie and Lindsay’s relationship, we are ready. Just give us the call and we will fasten our seatbelts to do the trip you invite us to make. Have a Happy New Year and our best wishes for you and your family, sweetie! – Hugs and kisses on both your cheeks. Lucero & Marsha (Proud Salsa Aunties to the ever loving JC and Eunichick)
thnkz for a happy ending. well done bringing the families together.
Following Chicki’s lead, Brava!!! on your first story. Indeed I’ve followed it and loved every minute of it. You have done a wonderful job of giving us a story reminiscent of Bette and Tina yet not having them as your main characters and that in itself is something to be very proud of. Because I, like many others, only read stories about Bette and Tina. You have captivated the spirit and love of our girls while developing and maintaining a story about other characters, the mark of a very good writer. And yes, this may be the end of this portion of their lives but it does BEG A SEQUEL. We have to know how successful the showing was and what happens to them in their lives and love for each other. Wonderful first story. Please grace us with a SEQUEL to this wonderful story and, if not, we will follow you with whatever you choose to write. Thanks again for a wonderful story. Happy New Year, wish you and yours a very successful 2009.
Such a beautiful story…so sad to see it end. I agree I think it’s worthy of a sequel, yes? Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent…
