Chapter 6- Know when to Fight
Shane walked into Alex’s room, rubbing her stomach. It had been eight months already. The baby was due in two weeks, and her back was killing her. She saw the girl, bent over her desk, penciling in some lines here and there. She was deep in thought. Shane knocked on the door frame.
Shane: Whatcha up to?
Alex: Getting some sketches done for that new deck you and Madre want.
Shane: YOU’RE gonna make our deck?
Alex: I’ll put it together.
Shane: Alex we can just hire someone to do it.
Alex: Yea, and you’ll spend a fortune.
Shane: We can spend a little extra. Anyways, shouldn’t you be using the next month to study for your GED?
Alex: Mom, I already know 95% of the stuff. And there’s no way we can afford a little extra once the baby comes.
Shane smiled and rubbed her stomach as Alex walked over and gently rubbed her mother’s stomach.
Alex: I can’t believe I’m going to be a big sister.
Shane smiled, and then remembered what she had come to see Alex for.
Shane: Oh, Um, this came for you in the mail.
Shane handed her an envelope. Alex took it and read the address.
Alex: My god it took them long enough.
Shane: What is it?
Alex: My license.
Shane: haha, I had given up on that coming. Maybe your truck will get out of that garage and stop collecting dust now! Congratulations! We can use tonight as a half celebration!
Shane gave Alex a hug.
Alex: Tonight?
Shane then remembered another thing and winced.
Shane: Oops!
Alex: Oops what?
Shane scratched her head.
Shane: I was supposed to tell you last week that we are having a girls night tonight; you, me, Madre, Abuela, and Alice and her niece. I was supposed to make sure you’d be okay with Alice coming.
Alex: WHAT?
Shane: I’m guessing you’re not okay with it?
Alex was fuming. There was no way she could stand seeing Alice right now. God, she hadn’t formerly seen her since the car incident. That was a month ago! She then got an idea.

Yeah, NOW I`m mollified! More Sharmen in this chapter ;-)… so well, yeah, this was an awesome chapter, I really loved it! I would like to see a picture of Shane being 8 months pregnant LOL. Anyway, can`t wait to see what`s there goin on with Alex and Sydney! So keep it comin, girl! Please? ;-)

Looks like winter break has done some good. I got another update. Its the 2nd one this week. Update and if you don’t lets jsut say monday won’t be very pleasent… LOL But Um definitaly update and soon. It was a good chapter better then 5.

that was really good.. i like this series, it has its harshness, but it also has its sweetness so yeah keep righting it that u sarted to update i more freaquntly like u did in the begining anywaay have a good one and i hope to get a new update soon
