    Bette looked at Tina and smiled. “T-you’re standing outside in your underwear and shirt.”

    Chapter Thirteen

     

                    Tina moaned as she lay on her stomach. She felt Bette’s hand on her waist and her leg was entangled with her. She smiled at the thought of the evening that they had last night. Her body was tired and weak, but she didn’t care. She looked up at the clock at the nightstand and sighed heavily. Bette began to move around in her sleep and snuggled closer to Tina. Tina turned around and looked at Bette’s face. She traced her jawbone with her fingertips and traced her lips. Bette moved around, and Tina smiled. She pulled away from Bette and climbed out of bed. She sighed and slipped on her underwear. She grabbed her top and slipped it on. She walked out of the bedroom and towards the kitchen. She grabbed a cup out of the cupboard and started the coffee pot. She leaned against the counter and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear. She walked away and went to grab her purse off the couch. She grabbed her phone out of her purse and check for messages. She noticed that she had a text message from Alice.

    Hey! Call me when u get this. I need 2 tell you something.

    <3 Alice

                    Tina pushed Alice’s speed dial number and pressed send. She put her phone to her ear and sighed. She walked back into the kitchen and grabbed the milk out of the refrigerator.

    “Hello?”

    “Hey Al—it’s Tina.” She sat the milk on the counter. “What’s up?”

    “Hey—so how did last night go?” Tina smirked.

    “It went okay.”

    “Just okay? I need more details.” Tina laughed.

    “Maybe later—what did you need to talk to me about?”

    “Oh—,” Alice sighed heavily. “What did I want to tell you? I can’t remember—,” Tina rolled her eyes.

    “Stop beating the behind the bush and just tell me what you needed to tell me.”

    “All right—I really going to hate myself after this, but I needed to tell somebody.”

    “Okay—just tell me.”

    “I’m falling for someone else.” Tina grabbed the coffee pot.

    “Really? Who is this lady or man?” Tina smiled.

    “Tina—I really can’t say. I feel like I’m doing something wrong because of my relationship with Tasha.”

    1. Glad Tina was honest about Katherine. Hope she isn’t another Kate. Ohh, and the name Katherine Brooks reminds me of Anne of Green Gables The Sequal if that hasn’t been mentioned. Alice falling for Shane? Crazy. Her woman has been away for too long. As long at there is more sweet Bette and Tina working on getting themselves back on track I don’t care who else you pair up.

    7. Hey ACB, Am loving these intimate and private moments wwith Bette, Tina and Angelica. They should just how wonderful a family they are. Good to see that both Bette and Tina are comfortable with telling each other about their respective days. This open and honest communication will see them through whatever hard times the future holds. This sharing will see them through. As for Alice and Shane, very interesting take on their friendship.
