Bette:  “Open your eye’s.”

No response.

Bette:  “I said look at me!”

Harmony now acknowledged the command.  She had to try her best to fight her first reaction to close her eyes.  Bette stared deeply into her now open eyes. 

Harmony:  “Don’t stop…please.”

And with that Bette added a third finger pushing Harmony over the edge.  She screamed out Bette’s name and collapsed over her shoulder.  Bette whispered in her ear as Harmony breathed heavily.

Bette:  “Thank  you”

Bette was snatched from her memories when the professor snapped to the next slide.  As she looked around the room to make sure no one noticed her fantasizing she felt that familiar throbbing between her legs.  One which she knew only one thing could soothe…

Harmony was interrupted from her thoughts by her secretary buzzing her.

Secretary:  “Your wife is on line 2 Harm.”

Harmony:  “Got it, thanks”

She had been so lost thinking she forget bout her mid afternoon call from Bette.  She cleared her throat and tried to sound as upbeat as possible.

Harmony:  “BB.”

Bette:  “Hey!”

Harmony:  “How are things going today?”

Bette:  “Good, great actually.  I actually got some funding for the school and that wasn’t even my intention this weekend.”

Harmony:  “Wow babe that’s great.  You’re really doing some good things up there.”

Bette:  “Yes I suppose.  I really miss you though.”

Harmony exhaled heavily.  She didn’t even realize she was holding her breath.  She didn’t want to be the first to bring up the whole missing issue.  She didn’t want to make Bette feel bad about being gone.  Harmony was known to have to take a business trip or two a month.  Never once was she gone for 5 consecutive days.  This whole ordeal was taking a toll on both of them emotionally.

Harmony:  “I miss you too babe.  Sooo much.”

Silence.

Bette:  “2 ½ more days.”

Harmony:  “yup.  That’s  no time.”

Bette:  “Yeah…”

Silence

Bette:  “Ok…well.  I’ll call you tonight before bed.”

Harmony:  “Ok babe…bye.”

They both reluctantly hung up.  Harmony went on about her trying her hardest to pour herself into her work so that she wouldn’t think about  the empty house she was about to return to.
