Alice sighed and said, “you’re right.”
A smile made it’s way to Bette’s face as she said, “so we can still be friends right?”
“I don’t wanna lose you as a friend,” Alice smiled.
“Me neither Al,” Bette smiled.
“Friends?” Alice said extending her arms out for a hug.
Bette smiled and embraced Alice tightly, “hey Al?”
“Yeah?” Alice smiled holding Bette close.
Bette smiled and said, “you are my best friend.”
“Uh Bette?” Alice laughed, “are you gonna let me go?”
“Bette, you’re crushing her,” Tina laughed.
Bette let her go with a smile, “sorry. It’s just…”
“What?” Alice smiled grabbing her hand.
“I remembered you.”
“You did?” Alice said with tears in her eyes.
“Yeah, I had just broken up with you and we decided to be friends,” Bette said.
“Oh,” Alice laughed, “well a month later you met Tina.”
“Really?” Bette said.
“Yes, Alice basically pushed you at me,” Tina smiled.
“See, now you can relax, Al,” Tasha said, “she remembered you.”
“I’m so glad your getting better Bette,” Alice said kissing Bette’s cheek.
“Bye,” Tasha smiled waving.
“Have a safe flight,” Bette said.
“Call me when you land,” Tina said hugging them as they walked out of the room.
“So Helena, Shane, and Kit are staying?” Bette said smiling.
“Yeah, they rented an apartment nearby for about a month, but Helena will leave early to run ‘The Planet,’ and ‘Hit,’” Tina said moving to sit down next to Bette.
“I thought Marina owned ‘The Planet,’” Bette said looking confused.
“She sold it to Kit,” Tina said, “then Kit partnered up with Helena.”
The door opened and Dr. Thompson walked in with the discharge papers, “alright, let’s just get these signed and you can go home.”
Bette grabbed the papers and grabbed the pen, “uh…”
“What baby?” Tina said.
“I don’t remember my signature,” Bette blushed.
Tina laughed and grabbed the notepad on the table. She jotted down Bette’s signature and Bette copied it. She gave Tina an odd look. Tina chuckled and said, “what? We’ve been together for more than 8 years, you think I don’t know your signature?”
Bette smiled as Dr. Thompson said, “alright Ms. Porter, you’re free to go.”
“Thanks for everything Dr. Thompson,” Bette smiled.
“I can’t thank you enough,” Tina shook his hand then moved behind Bette’s wheelchair to push her away. Tina pushed Bette down the hall leaning down to kiss her head.

great as usual, love that Bette remembered Alice. can’t wait for the next chapter, I just hope i can do my happy face and not my sad one! LOL.
There is NOTHING like love-making to end a chapter.
PPS, loved it.
Wonderful Update!!! Thank you PPS
So is the intense part going to be Bette remembering the bad or the loving that Tina is going to put on her. Well Alice left happy-interesting memory for recall though.

Great update..thanks!
love love love it!
I’m glad that Bette remembered an intimate moment with Tina. And as Tina told her they have many more happy memories than bad ones, and Tina will be there to help her through them. Now when they make love that should probably make some of the hotter memories return. I knew a lady once that was paralyzed fron the waist down, got pregnant had the baby and eventually regained the ability to walk again and the doctor’s could not explain it. Something that has been bothering me, was Bette paralyzed by riding back to the hospital in Leo’s arm’s on the bike rather than him waiting for an ambulance. Because she was able to get out of the car. Just wondered if that compromised her health, just a thought. Great chapter. Thanks.
Amazing… PPS!
Great chapter! Hopefully the bad memories don’t destroy her recovery.
