    My season six. And my atonement for the last story I posted.

    Bette dialed Tina’s cell after she was certain Angelica was fast asleep. 
    "I thought you and Angie were off to bed," Tina answered.
    "I wanted to have a conversation without her hovering over me," Bette replied. "I didn’t wake you did I?"
    "I’m in bed; I was just reading," Tina said, setting her book on the nightstand. "But I’d certainly rather talk to you."
    "Has it been warm?"
    "Freezing," Tina replied. "Drizzly and foggy every morning, and it barely warms up over the course of the day."
    "You should go across to Napa – it’s bound to be warmer there this time of year," Bette suggested.
    "This isn’t a holiday," Tina reminded her. "Some days are 16 hours long."
    "I know," Bette replied. "But if the movie wraps as early as expected, you’ll have some free time."
    "If it wraps early, I’m coming home to my family," Tina said. "I miss you."
    "We miss you too," Bette replied. "You’re sleeping well?"
    "Not as well as if you were with me," Tina said. "I always sleep better when we share a bed."
    "I don’t know that it’s sharing a bed as much as it is the stress relieving activity we often engage in before sleep," Bette smiled. "Any interest?"
    "Bette, it’s been years…"
    "We were first dating," Bette recalled. "But I want you to get a good night’s sleep after a long day."
    "Isn’t phone sex really the purview of the young and impetuous?"
    "I happen to think any kind of sex we both agree to is our purview," Bette replied.
    "You make an excellent point…"
    "It would be incredibly arousing for me to know you were touching yourself as I talked to you," Bette said. "Can I assume if it’s that cold there, you’re bundled from head to toe?
    "It becoming clear to why you didn’t want Angelica overhearing this conversation," Tina said. "But in fact, I turned the heat on in the room so it would be warm enough for me to sleep without anything on."
    "I think I’m capable of getting you even hotter despite the miles that separate us.”
    “Bette, you’re really going to do this aren’t you?”
