“Yeah I think so too” Tina smiles “We’ll see you guys later” she says before following Bette out of the café.

“You’ll call me after you talk to Helena?” Bette asks as they are walking towards their cars.

“Sure” Tina smiles kissing Bette goodbye before they get into their cars.

“So you and Bette are having a baby?” Helena smiles at Tina from across her office desk.

“Yeah…I was hoping you and I could work something out that would work well for both of us” Tina says.

“Of course Tina…that shouldn’t be a problem” Helena smiles.

“If it would be possible I would like to go on maternity leave as soon as possible…we just really want this to work and me being here, stressing out every day won’t exactly help” Tina said giving Helena a small smile.

“I understand…you want to prepare your body for pregnancy”

“Right” Tina smiles “I was thinking that I could still keep most of my responsibility and work from home and then when the baby is born I could go on real maternity leave?” Tina asks hesitantly.

“That actually sounds like a wonderful solution” Helena smiles, clasping her hands together.

“Really?” Tina asks raising her eyebrows.

“Yes” Helena smiles “I will look into that and fix with the details”

“That’s great Helena” Tina says “Thank you”

Tina gets up and prepares to leave.

“Tina?” Helena says as Tina is halfway to the door.

“Yes?”

“I’m really happy for you and Bette…you will both make excellent mothers”

“Thank you” Tina smiles warmly before turning back towards the door and making her way towards her office.

Tina looked at the white and pink stick in her hand waiting for it to show whether she was ovulating or not. She knew she would be ovulating any day now and this was the third day taking the test. As three minutes passed she looked at the test again seeing a smiley face and her face turned into a huge grin.

“Bette come here!” she calls out excitedly.

“What?” Bette asks as she walks into the bathroom.

Tina holds up the stick for Bette to see as she walks up to her. She looks at the stick seeing the smiley face and she smiles lovingly at her wife.
