“Oh girl I am always up for a partay. You tell me the place and I will be there.”

“We are having a house warming party for Tina this coming Saturday. You remember Tina right Kit? The beautiful blonde?” Alice asked Kit as she emphasized on Tina’s name and she looked towards Bette to catch her reaction.

Bette’s ears perked up at the mention of Tina but she stayed quiet trying to concentrate on the book in front of her. Just hearing Tina’s name would make her feel warm inside and send butterflies flying in her stomach.

Bette closed her eyes taking in a deep breath but was startled as the sweet smiling face of the beautiful blonde popped up in front of her eyes. Bette immediately opened her eyes and reached for her coffee gulping down a big shot in one go.

Alice subtle nod in Bette’s direction prompted Kit to look towards Bette with raised eyebrows and a knowing smile.

“So what do you say Bette?” Kit asked amusedly as she saw Bette squirming in her seat.

“Oh Kit, that’s a great idea. I am sure you will have a good time.” Bette replied trying to hide her condition. She was afraid people would know how her heart raced with excitement at the mere mention of the possibility of seeing Tina again.

“Of course I am gonna have a good time baby sista! Wanna know if you are upto it?” Kit asked as she tried to hold in her laugh.

Bette was now visibly flustered.

“You okay Bette? Want some cold water?” Alice asked smirking.

“Uhuh baby sis you sure look on fire.” Kit nodded.

Bette glared at both of them as she straightened in her seat and pouted a little which only prompted both Kit and Alice to burst out laughing.

Both of them were beside themselves laughing at the situation. Finally Bette had enough and she got up in a huff.

“I hate you both! I am outta here” Bette scowled at them as she got out of here chair and headed towards the door only to hear a big chorus of ‘we love you too’s from the two women she loved dearly.

She could only smile at their antics as she stepped out of the door in the bright morning sun.

The way they were acting she had no doubt they knew about her little secret crush on Ms. Kennard.

If it was so obvious to everyone did Tina know herself? The tall brunette wondered.

She sighed as she felt the cool breeze against her face and walked towards her car.

Another beautiful day and another 24 hours to think about the beauty that had stolen her heart. Her smile was only getting bigger at the future prospects.
