Tina: Ha, Bette is Bette.
Kit: Is something wrong?
Tina: No; it’s just I stared thinking this morning, that it’s going to be difficult to get Bette to slow down when she gets further along in her pregnancy. That she has to realize she won’t be able to always be rushing around and working.
Kit: What makes you think she won’t slow down?
Tina: You know how Bette can be; she thinks she wonder woman.
Kit: Hah yeah. But you never know; she just might surprise you.
Tina: I hope so.
Tina’s coffee was brought to her in a to-go cup.
Tina: I think we are going to get going. I’ll see you later Kit.
Kit: Okay; have fun at the park you two.
Tina thought about what Kit said; maybe she shouldn’t just assume that Bette won’t take it down a notch. After all; she is only four weeks pregnant.

Later that day…
Bette had gotten home a bit earlier that usual. Tina and Angelica were still out at the park.
Bette walked upstairs to her bedroom; she wanted to get changed into more comfortable clothes. She went into her bureau and pulled out a t-shirt and pajama pants. She removed all of her clothes except for her underwear. She stood in front of the full-length mirror in the bedroom examining her body. Caressing her stomach; she tried to image what changes her body would be going through these next eight months.
Tina quietly walked into the bedroom and walked up behind Bette. She wrapped her arms around her from behind and placed her hands on Bette’s stomach.
Tina: It doesn’t happen overnight you know.
Bette: I know; I’m just looking. It’s just hard to grasp the fact that there is a little one slowly growing inside of me.
Tina: I know what you mean.
Bette: Where’s Angelica?
Tina: Asleep, we spent the day at the park.
Bette: Aw, I didn’t get to see her all day.
Tina: I’m sorry, she was really tired.
Bette: It’s okay; I’m going to go in and kiss her goodnight.
Tina: Okay.
Bette threw on her clothes and left the bedroom. Tina wanted to try talking to Bette about the changes she was going to have to make; but decided that maybe she should wait.
Bette walked down the hall and into Angelica’s bedroom; slowly opening the door. She looked down at her daughter as she slept peacefully in her crib. She leaned down and kissed her on the head and gently stroked her cheek.
Bette: Night Angel.

Still great. Bette is in for more changes than she can even anticipate. Whether she likes it or not, her body will slow her down. Good thing Tina will be there to carry her through. But, OMG, when those hormones start ragging, Tina better start taking some major vitamins.
Bette’s body will let her know when she has to slow down. She should however try to eat for the baby and to keep up her strength.

Bette’s body will make her slow down. Tina will be a great support system for her and will be able to tell her what to expect. Bette’s hormones will not only make her moody, but extremely horny…at least I was, when I was pregnant! LOL! Watch out Tina…you are in for some lovin’.LOL! Post Soon.
I could see Bette rushing around one day at work and out of nowhere just stop right where she is and 2 seconds later flop down in a chair and mumble “uncle.” lol PPS!
i can’t imagine her mood when the hormones hit her! Bette will use to calm down her body will be changing and she will need more rest every day.
Out of all the stories this one and a couple others have Bette having a baby. I can’t wait to see what happens to her during this time in her life.

Yeah Coffee posted…I think Bette might surprise us and be total opposite of her personality now…I just hope she remembers to eat. I am sure the baby will remind her. I am sure Alice will give her alot of grief…Tina needs to stay on top of Bette (ladies get your minds out the gutter) and make sure she takes care of herself and the little one…or two…or three. More please.
Good chapter. Can’t wait to see the hormones coming and Tina need a strangs to keep up with Bette lol. Bette need to eat for her and the baby and she need to slow down too!!!!!!!
Coffee, Great to see Alpha Bette is full flow and I do think that she will surprise all of the ganag as her pregnancy progresses. This child so wanted that Bette would never do anything that mind put he or she in danger. It will be a battle all the way but one where the rewards of victory are magnificent. You did make me laugh at Bette’s reluctance to get up and give up her coffee. Sweet to see Kit and Tina being there for each other as well as for Bette and Angelica. Now will the realization of her body changing hit Bette like a ton of bricks or will it slowly creep up on her? You make it happen. Please keep writing, because this is great stuff. I have no doubt that Bette will slow down during this pregnancy. She is already a lovely mother to angelica, she will be great for her new baby.

Lovin the sequal, and YES, Tina is going to have her hands FULL with her two babies. But she should get help and support from her friends, family and Bette’s assistant at work in regards to Bette eating properly :o)

Oh, god… pregnant Bette. Wow. Hadn’t really thought about that before. But I think she’ll learn how to slow down, eventually. Even the most type A of us wear out at some point. :)
