    Dr. Wilson was doing an ultra sound; when she realized something seemed wrong. She just got the results from the labs and was looking over them.

     

    Dr. Wilson: Dr. Phillips.

     

    Dr. Phillips came in quickly.

     

    Dr. Phillips: What is it?

     

    Dr. Wilson: The labs confirm what look like abnormalities on the ultra sound.

     

     

     

     

     

     

    In Room 204…

     

     

     

     

     

    Dr. Phillip: Bette after running a few more tests; we found bilateral pleural effusion with evidence of sub Q edema.

     

    Bette: What the hell does that mean?

     

    Dr. Phillips: We detected what looks like beginning heart failure in the twins.

     

    Bette: What?!

     

    Dr. Phillips: We will have to take you into surgery immediately. Dr. Wilson please book the OR now!

     

    Bette: But…what about Tina…she’s not here.

     

    Dr. Phillips: We will have one of the nurses inform her on what’s going on but right now we have to take you into surgery.

     

    Dr. Wilson and a few nurses wheeled Bette out of the room; all of this was happening so fast Bette was in a panic.

     

    They wheeled her into the OR.

    Tina walked into the hospital. She passed by the gift shop and saw a cute stuffed bear sitting on the shelf. She walked into the shop and picked up the bear that was holding a flower and smiled. She thought it might cheer Bette up; even just a little. She walked to the cashier and paid for it and headed for Bette’s room.

     

    When she reached room 204 she opened the door and found an empty bed.

     

    Tina: Bette?

     

    She walked over to the bathroom and knocked on the door; when she got no repose she opened the door and saw she wasn’t in there.

     

    Nurse: Excuse me; are you Tina Kennard?

     

    Tina quickly turned around.

     

    Tina: Yes I am. Where’s Bette?
