    Bette had left to pick up Tina. Alice and Dana sat entwined on the couch. Jenny and Taylor poured glasses of punch and iced tea. Carmen fiddled with the lay z boy while Shane surfed through three hundred satellite channels of junk. All of the presents were stacked up high on the table Bette had so carefully decorated. Balloons of all colors dotted the once blank ceiling. Dana, you should tell that story to everyone. Itd be a real party starter. Dana glared at Alice with murder in her eyes. Just kidding, sweetheart. Anyway, Taylor – hows your nose? It looks decent. Alice got up to get herself some punch.

    Yeah, its fine. Just a little sore is all. Great dress, by the way. Alice lifted part of her skirt up and did a half twirl. Really? Thank you. She smiled. The room grew silent. Carmen stood up to make an announcement.

    Hey. Bette smiled, her anticipation of Tinas reaction to the surprise party making her anxious.

    Hey. Tina wore a navy blue dress, form fitting and ultra – sleek. Bette noticed the enormous curves Tinas stomach threw forward. It was in – your – face and damn *****. She wanted to seduce her right then and there, but she knew the girls would grow impatient if they were held up for too long.

    You look fantastic. Bette reached for Tinas hand.
