Chapter 15
Dana slammed yet another serve right inside the line.
“Hot damn Fairbanks! You hit like that this weekend you’ll be unstoppable,” Harrison called from the sideline while he took a break to get a drink from the water cooler.
Practice was winding down. Some players were gathering their equipment, while others were still working on various aspects of their game.
The brunette smiled at her doubles partner but before she could reply another voice cut in.
“Please? I bet that serve isn’t even breaking 70 miles of hour. Weak,” exclaimed Scott as he walked over to the water cooler to get a drink for himself.
“Like you have any room to talk Scott? What is your service percentage this season… around 65%,” Harrison retorted. “Dana could kick your ass up and down this court any day of the week.”
Dana, who had been trying her best too ignore the two boys, shot Harrison an incredulous look. It wasn’t that she didn’t think she couldn’t beat the pompous prick, but it had been Harrison who had been telling her just ignore Scott since he had began his antagonism a year ago. Now Harrison was not only not ignoring him, he was drawing Dana into an argument she was just happy to ignore for once.
And people say women are confusing? They should try figuring out how men think!
“Ha! It wouldn’t even be a contest. She’d be lucky not to get swept,” the brunette boy replied throwing the paper cup in the trash.
“Whatever. I’d kick your ass any day. Just name the time and the place,” Dana replied annoyed, before glancing down at her watch.
“Fine. How about right now?”
“I can’t. I have…”
“What scared Fairbanks,” Scott teased with a smirk? “Don’t worry if I were you I’d be scared too. No way you’d be able to even return one of my serves anyway.”
“You’re on,” Dana replied in a controlled tone. “Harrison you want to be a line judge?”
“You got it,” Harrison said before yelling to the rest of the team who were still on the courts “Hey, Fairbanks and Mackenzie are going play a match! We need two more line judges.”

ughh get rid of her. she is such a drag. i was a little nervous that you were going to make dana lose and go on a date with that guy, just to create drama between lara and dana. i am so glad you didn’t. that guys an ass. thanks again for the quick update.
She should have told Scott he had to shave his back too. LOL. I love this story it’s great. You said Lara got out of the car. Dana should just put into drive and take off. That sounds like a really good idea to me. WOOT.
Dana should so get the priviledge of working the clippers. Alice needs to brodcast it around campus and a whole a$$ ton of people show up to watch Dana shave his head on center court! LMAO! Go Dana! Lara is a freaking weirdy if she doesnt like sweaty, vein popping Dana…Oh well,more for Alice to love. Thanks so much for another excellent update!
Wonderful update, anionayo! I missed Al though! Great way to handle Scott! Go Dana! When Lara said she didn’t like a sweaty Dana, I just remembered Tonya, is she going to make an appearance too? So, this is the beginning of the end for Dana and Lara… time to party, lol. You know, MaGoose’s clones always seem to get lost in the mail, that’s why I asked you, lol. I guess I just have to keep looking :)
Another chapter? Yay!! Absolutely love Dana taking on Scott and beating his ass. I also like that she had the presence on mind to realize she still had to be on the same team with him. Although I wish she would have rubbed it in a bit more for that kiss. What a jerk he was. I hope he leaves her alone after this. I feel so bad for Dana that Lara was acting so badly when Dana had just had this great thing happen. How could you be angry with happy, sweaty Dana? Lara seems to be looking for problems. And it is not like Dana is not ever taking her out or anything. I am ready for them to break up any time now. ;-D Thank you very much for another great chapter, anionayo!!
First of all anionayo, the way Scott behaved in the party, he deserved to be on that list. Then tonight, he took advantage of D again and he was definitely working his way to the top. I am thrilled to see D won the game. You did a fantastic job with the game. As for Ms. Lara, she should know better as D said. I see how this relationship would head south. Did not like a sweaty D? Bad move Ms. Lara. I always though L could show a little bit more patience with D staying in the closet and her demanding tennis training. “…bald is beautiful”. lol. Excellent post and thank you!
