    Tessa is 4 weeks old and Tina has her doc’s appointment…

     

     

     

    Tina has this look in her eyes… I know she is close… so close and now she is there… I pull her close to me as her body rides the waves… our lips crash together… as her breathing levels out…

     

    Tina:  OMG… babe, I can’t tell you how much I needed that…

     

    Bette:  Ditto…

     

    Bette pulls the covers over them, their breathing gets slower and soon they are fast asleep…

    They all worked hard the next few days… finding places to put boxes of diapers… they even stored some up in Lisa’s apartment…  but every thing was now put away and Bette was helping Tina write thank you notes…
     
    Bette:  I know I said it before… but this is such a great idea…
     
    Tina:  It sure is… just think of the time we are saving… I love Amanda… she always thinks of this at every party she goes too…
     
    Bette:  And see wasn’t it a good thing, when we went to the Mall last week and had Tessa’s picture taken… we got over 100 pictures for $10.00…
     
    Tina:  Just wait till the next time we go and the price is doubled for 1 picture…
     
    Bette:  Not a problem… and you knew it too…
     
    Tina:  I know…
     
    Bette:  What are you thinking..
     
    Tina:  She is 4 weeks old already… and you have to go back to work on Monday…
     
    Bette:  Don’t remind me… I hate leaving you…
     
    Tina:  I hate you leaving… but it’s going to happen sooner or later… I just don’t want to leave her with babysitters…
     
    Bette:  At least for the first few months you can leave her at your work in daycare…
     
    Tina:  She has to be close to me… I have to feed her… that’s another thing… babe… I want to breast feed her as long as I can… hopefully to when she’s a year old…

     

    Bette:  Tee, you can as long as you want to… I have no complaints… (Smiling)
     
    Tina:  Hmmm I know you have no complaints… you just like my boobs big…
     
    Bette:  I like them any size…
     
    Tina:  Keep writing there missy… we are not done…
     
    Bette:  Can you believe it tonight is the first night its just the three of us… not that your mom was a bother…
     
    Tina:  I know what you mean… but I guess I have to take care of her myself sooner or later…
     
    Bette:  I just hope she doesn’t think we wanted her to leave… since she showed me how to bathe her… I love doing it… maybe I should of let her bathe her once in a while…
     
    Tina:  No she knows you enjoyed it… she told me she had some business to take care and that she would probably be back late Sunday night… she knows you go back to work on Monday…
     
    Bette:  There you go again with the 4 letter words…
     
    Tina:  (Laughing)… sorry babe… well that’s the last of them… do we have enough stamps in the desk drawer…
     
    Bette:  I think so… yes we do… we might even make the mailman…

No parent is perfect and it is only by experience do you learn the best way to care for your child. Tina’s panic was perfectly played out here. Glad to hear your son is continuing the family tradition of checking toes in sleepsuits and diapers. LOL. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
