    The rest of the day was spent eating, drinking, laughing… with the people that meant the most in their lives…

    Bette needed to go to her office… even though she knew she would have no time for work over the weekend… what with her In-Laws over and it being the biggest shopping weekend of the year… she was actually lucky Tina let her go to the office… gathering her files that she needed… Helena walked passed her office…
     
    Helena:  Oh Bette… I’m surprised to see you in this morning…
     
    Bette: I could say the same thing to you…
     
    Helena:  Well I forgot some notes… so I thought I would come and get them… what’s your excuse…
     
    Bette:  The same… not that I will likely have any free time.. but just in case…
     
    Helena:  Bette… hmmm…
     
    Bette:  Did you want to tell me something…
     
    Helena:  Actually I do… I need to apologize… you see never in my life has anyone ever turned me down for anything… I guess I took people for granted…
     
    Bette:   You Guess…
     
    Helena:  You’re right… I do take people for granted… but you have to admit… you and Tina are very nice on the eyes…
     
    Bette:  But Helena… No is NO…
     
    Helena:  I know… like I said I am truly sorry… I do hope we can be civil to each other… I really mean that… please believe me when I say I am happy for you… and if you forgive me… I am also jealous… I only wish I could find my soul mate…

     

    Bette just watched and listened…

     

    Helena:  I see the way you two look at each other… believe me its very refreshing… the only time anyone looks at me that way is if my wallet is open… or if they find out I am “ONE OF THOSE PEABODY’S”… but with both you and Tina… that didn’t matter… so please accept my apology…
     
    Bette:  I will give you a second chance… we do have to work together… and I do adore your mother… and hopefully we could become friends…
     
    Helena:  Oh and another thing… about last weekend… if it means anything… I think Toni’s work is spectacular… I did read about him… I mean her… you did throw me there… and I am glad you got her aboard…
