Bette, Candice, Tina: Scene 1: Tina was so Mad
    Place: Alices Apartment

Tina was so mad she didnt know what to do with herself. And before she knew it shed find herself pacing again, back and forth thinking back to that moment when she saw it.
The emotion in Bette. The emotion that had been missing for so long in their relationship. And Bette had it again, That Glow. And it wasnt for me! she screamed in her head.

Her thoughts would continue down the same path Bette Bette Bette, of all people, I would never believe you were capable of it. If I hadnt seen it with my own eyes, and felt it down in my soulthat feeling like being punched so hard, you loose your breath. How could you have done this to me! Betray my trust. Oh God! What am I going to do?. What the ***** Im I going to do? Ok, ok she thinks after the latest string of thoughts flooding her mind, get a grip on yourself your starting to fall apart again.

Alice walks into the room with two glasses in hand.

Tina: (still pacing without looking at Alice screams) God Damnit! Why?! Why, why why why why?!

Alice stops short in her tracks as if she personally was about to be attackedlooking at Tina not sure to trust it would indeed be ok any minute now.

Tina: (Turning to Alice now in an almost pleading voice) How? How can she feel something for anyone but me? I just cant believe it. Alice, if I didnt see it with my own eyes what am I going to do????

Alice: (calm now knowing she personally wasnt about to be attached walks over to the couch sits down while setting the glasses on the coffee tablepats the couch cushion next to her) Well the first thing youre gonna do is sit down. Here, I made a stiff drink just for younow drink up. (cause your gonna need it she whispers to herself.)

Tina: (Sits down only because she was tired of pacing. Looks at the drink skeptically.) Im not drinking that.

Alice: Oh yes you are girlie, if you plan on staying here tonight youre gonna have to drink up..besidesyou can trust me. Its an old family recipe.

Tina: (taking a sip) ugh!…what the ***** is that?

Alice: (smiling) like a said and old family receipe. Its called Blended Scott Whisky. And guaranteed to heal all wounds, physical or emotional. So drink upbefore body parts start falling off.

Tina attempts another sipAlice encouraging her all the way.

Alice: (believing it safer now) So have you asked her?

Tina: (now drinking more comfortably) asked her what?

    Alice: Why?

Tina: You know what. It doesnt matter why. All I know is that she feels for someone else.

Alice: Wait a minute, back up. What do you mean she feels? .You mean you dont know if she actually???

Tina: Alice? It doesnt matter if shes actuallywhat matters is that she is feeling something for someone else other then me!that I can see. Actually I dont even want to think about if.

Alice: (a little confused, but somewhat encouraged by the news) But you where trying too put Candice name up on my boardnow I understand what you mean, but if she hasnt really

Tina: (cutting her off)oh I know!I just dont have confirmationall the pieces started to fall into place. I started thinking about that day when I asked Candice over to help out with the soup kitchen project and she seemed really nervous to talk to me. Now I dont really know her, so I didnt think much of that. But during the Provocation showand even beforeBette was so intenseI hadnt seen her like that in so longshe was going on and on about wanting to start a family. I just couldnt handle that at the moment, yet she seemed so stressed outI thought it was just work..but then at the showI saw it.

    Alice: What?

Tina: (almost breaking down) The emotion. That glow she has when she feels alivethe thing I fell in love with. Her excitement in the simplest of thingsI cant explain it.

Alice: oh yes you canhave you forgotten who your talking to? I know a little bit about Bette you know.

Tina: (a little embarrassed) oh yeah. Sometimes I forget. AnywayI dont think I want to talk about this any moreIve been dwelling way to muchIve got to figure out what is I want to do next and I cant even get close to answering that question without breaking down.

Alice: Well. What I think is, you need to drink up firstand then you need to figure out what questions you really need answeredand then ask themafter that, I think youll have no problem figuring out what you want to do nextso what do you think?
(as she hold up her glass to cheer)

Tina: (holding up her glass tapping Alice’s) I think that sounds like a Planat least a better one then I had in mine.

    End of Scene.
